Because he'd prefer she spend eternity with you. But it isn't up to either of you.
Satan uses deception to influence our spiritual lives.
Nobody has attempted to murder this woman, but Satan is more than happy to use deception.

One of us is afraid of death and being with God. Perhaps you missed that little lesson that Jesus was trying to teach all of us.
If there was any way possible to restore Terri Schiavo's physical body, you and I would both support that effort. Unfortunately, with today's medical knowledge, that is not going to happen for this woman.
Now, it is time to accept what God has planned for her, and allow her that freedom.

Even in the womb the Bible teaches we can have spiritual experiences. John leapt for joy in the womb when His Lord entered the room in Mary. Our bodies, even sick or disabled ones, are NOT called "prisons," but instead Jesus taught to bring the sick and the lowly. THEIRS is the kingdom of God, NOT as you say, to murder her.
You claim she has "isolation from God" because you disbelieve the Bible's claims that God is omnipresent. You are pushing for MURDER because "you know not the Scriptures, nor the power therein." They didn't recognize Jesus was the Messiah, and murdered him, and you don't recognize that Terri is NOT in a vegetative state, she is NOT in a coma, she IS responsive, she DOES communicate.
You in pride are thinking you are stopping her "suffering." Who says she is suffering? When you were sick, would you have wanted your parents or friends to ZAP! Murder you, because, "oh, she's suffering." Since when is the value of human life degraded as less important unless it's perfect?? Scripture teaches there is sin, but we are not to continue in sin by murdering others because they are less than perfect.
She is created in the image of God Himself. HE says that HE is the author and giver of life. HE is her Creator and HE has kept her alive, not the hospital. How dare you try to take her from His hands and do YOUR will rather than HIS.
You heart is NOT "in its right place" as you so arrogantly proclaim it is. You are provoking murder. Stop, and turn to the only One Who can give life, before YOUR life is taken, and YOU will end up truly suffering for eternity away from Him.

When and if Terri can recieve visitors again freely something as simple as what was done in the link would be an enjoyment on spec. days.
After they came to our house I sent them over to the Nursing home where our respite care provider works when not at our home, the whole facility enjoyed it. One gal never comes out of her room and did when she heard the singing of the Barbershop quartet.
Even on the home bound days freinds esp. his gal pals and other entertainment can make the day!
Truth is all the anti Terri posters probably could use a little fun/joy in their lives. Ya know what they say about misery.
And against his Catholic upbringing he has enjoyed a few nights out to Gentlemens Clubs as an adult.
I would love to see the day when Terri is free and can nod yes or no to partaking in Ladies Nite All Male Revue, then she'd really have something to pay penance for. : )

You asked "can we restore Terri's body?"
One of her doctors says YES!, to some degree, but she has not been allowed the therapy to do so. He believes she can eat and drink on her own, and transfer from her chair and back herself with therapy.
When you don't get "Range of Motion" therapy every day, every shift, the muscles atrophy. But her family and friends are willing to help her. She is NOT in pain. She is awake and alert and not in a coma, not in a vegetative state.
And what is your point? If a person can't have a perfect body, they should be killed? Sounds Hitlerian to me.

Christians do not believe they die, in the sense that the moment our immaterial nature is taken from our physical body, we are with the Lord: "to be absent from the body is to be with the Lord." Christians do not fear death.
People who do not believe that Jesus Christ is the only way of salvation, who don't believe that that He is the only Mediator between God and man, who don't believe that it is HIS death alone which atones for our sins, not our works, those are the ones who should be TERRIFIED of conscious suffering for eternity.
You are choosing hell for yourself when you reject God's word as you are doing. You willingly choose to continue in rebellion against God's gift of grace through Christ.

You are illogically equating "lack of freedom" with being perfectly healthy.
Sometimes our sickness is due to our own sin, sometimes from the sin of others, as could be the case with Terri, possibly having been strangled by her husband resulting in this state; and sometimes a less-than-healthy-body is for another purpose. Jesus teaches what that purpose is. I suggest you go read about it.
Also, YOU are taking away an office of God, the right to give life and take life of His creation. You want to "allow" her death, which GOD HIMSELF has not given you the right to allow. In fact, you are promoting it.

MOST OF US WHO LIVE AND WORK IN THE REAL WORLD, ARE FAMILIAR WITH THE CONCEPT OF MEETING A DEADLINE-AND IN TERRI'S CASE IT IS QUITE LITERALLY A "DEADLINE"-TERRI WILL END UP DEAD IF YOU DON'T MEET IT.
IT'S CALLED EFFORT. DO US ALL A FAVOR AND MAKE AN EFFORT WILL YA?

While I do applaud the effort that has been made by the legislators who put this together, it sounds like there are some who "don't get it" about Terri. they are the ones who need to make an EFFORT to save Terri's life , and they need to act NOW.

What have YOU done to help her physically? ANYthing? NO. By your own definition YOU are NOT a Christian, nor a "caring human."
Actually, Terri's family, among many other people, harbor a high suspicion that Michael Schiavo attempted to strangle Terri on the night of her collapse all those years ago, and thus he is responsible for her current condition. So, his attempts at judicial homicide are, in effect, "finishing off" what he failed to do before. Terri and Michael were known to have had a big fight that day.
Check out the medical information, especially regarding her rigid neck and the fact that she was found holding her neck with her hands. This is consistent with attempted strangulation. She didn't die that night, but instead pulled through, brain-damaged but alive.
So, it is possible--some would say highly likely--that even before this matter got to the courts at all, there was at least one attempt at murder.
And now, of course, there have been years of unending efforts at judicial homicide.
Several doctors have stated that Terri could be helped with therapy... including some kinds of therapy which were not available at the time of her original collapse. Her family is willing to provide this therapy to her. There have even been several offers from doctors to help Terri free of charge.
Can she be restored to her pre-collapse condition? No one knows for sure. Possibly not. But she could probably improve a lot (perhaps even to the point that she could tell what actually happened the night of her collapse). Regardless, her family loves her and wants to take care of her.
Why are you so eager to deny the help that her family, and others, want to provide for her?
