"what a shister......would believe more in the healing capacity of Benny Hill"
I must be tired....I read the headline and thought Benny Hill....he's definitely more interesting dead, than Hinn is alive.. Hinn might be hilarious, if he wasn't asking for money...
Benny Hill probably did have more healing power. He made people laugh.
Agree with you here, about Benny Hill....he does indeed offer more healing than Benny Hinn...at least with Benny Hill, you get a good honest laugh going, which to my mind is more healing, than getting angry with watching Benny Hinn do his show....
Benny Hinn makes me really angry, trying to make people believe that he has some sort of special healing ability, and claiming that it comes from God...and I have to wonder about the people in the audience, when he waves his arm, and they all fall backward in their seats, claiming, that they are all 'slain in the spirit'....what bunk...
As many other people do believe, I believe that healings, miraculous healings can and do come from God...but not through some fake like Benny Hinn....
When I lived in the south for a short time, I was unfortunately able to see the likes of Jim Whittington, and Ernest Angely put on their sorry shows, much like Benny Hinn...claiming how they miraculously cured folks...
These 'faith healers', these fakes, are the worst sort of people as far as I am concerned...they prey on the sick, they prey on those who have lost hope, and they offer them nothing but false hope, ,false cures...and even if one of these folks does claim a healing, and then later the healing goes away, the 'faith healer', always puts the blame on the sick person, ,claiming that their faith was not strong enough to sustain the healing...adding guilt on top of illness, is more than a sick person should bear...
Yet, they keep coming, and coming, and Benny Hinn keeps getting more and more popular, and more and more rich..I just dont get it, except to realize that desperate sick people, will go to desperate extreme measures...
I worked in nursing homes for many years...at one nursing home, we had a young gal there, who had suffered horrific brain damage, and was in a Persistent Vegetative State....she had been that way for years...any time a faith healer was known to be in our area, this womans parents, paid the faith healer to come to the nursing home, and 'cure' their daughter...of course, it never worked...
What got me, was that if a person is a real and true faith healer(which I dont believe there really is), and that person claims his gift comes from God, than that healer would not charge such an exorbitant fee, to come to the nursing home, spend 10 minutes, with the sick person, do a few little motions with their hand, say a few words, and then leave, grinning, with that big fee in their pocket...that is just plain evil...
These parents spent untold thousands of dollars, hiring faith healers....and the young lady, never was any better...this mother and father, spent their last few dollars, trying to cure their daughter...it really was sad...eventually the father died, the mother was herself sick and now alone, and their daughter is still in the nursing home, no better, in spite of the claims of these faith healers..so very sad...
<< what a shyster ...... would believe more in the healing capacity of Benny Hill >>
Absolutely.
Laughter is Good Medicine.
And the thoroughly despicable Hinn is not even good for a laugh.
