The poor are too often easily led to believe being rich is what God wants for us.
It has been hard for me to get through to such people that God wants what is best for us and that doesn't mean He will give us all of our desires.
There is nothing wrong with earning money nor of desiring to be able to give more away once had, but there is plenty wrong when a "church leader" equates holiness with riches and holds himself up as an example of that for which to strive.
It more likely is an example of greed masked by sheep's clothing.

Healing is part of the salvation package. When you get salvation - you get: safety, soundness, preservation, healing, deliverance and provision.
What some people don't understand is that it's GOD who does the healing.

The mammon preachers are what Jesus called wolves in sheeps clothing...white washed sepulchers filled with dead men's bones...
You cannot serve God & Mammon
God said 'it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter into Heaven'...
The LOVE of money is the ROOT of ALL EVIL (not the money itself)
We are told to work hard.."whatever your hand finds to do ..do it with all your strength"...He teaches us to be good employees as well as good employers (this is true worship of God..to be obedient to His word)
There is NO security in the things of this world or in those who model the greed of this present world system..
Jesus was God incarnate and was meek and humble..he did not exalt himself...he made himself to be born of a working middle class Jewish family...God deliberately chose a humble life rather than that of a king or prince or a wealthy merchant...or a beggar..(yet his followers are among all of these)
Christ, his life, his family, his closest followers pretty much demonstrated what is important to God...and it is not the things most important to those who worship the God of this world....(Lucifer the fallen...)
Beware of many (not all)TBN preachers who are wolves and beware those who back the members of their 'pack' -like Hinn
imo

Ah yes, the "name-it-and-claim-it" types. My brother goes to one of those places - it's all suits and BMW's - "God wants you to be wealthy! If you believe in him, he will bless you with anything you want!"
The entire place is all about image - a false air of holiness.

Beware those who "think that godliness is a means to financial gain" (1 Timothy 6:5)
No, godliness with contentment is what God demands. (next 2 verses).
Any teacher who preaches that God wants you to be wealthy is a rabid heretic of the worst sort.
Flee as far away as possible.
Flee from Copeland. Flee from Joyce Meyer (her ministry is already illegitimate because she is female, not to mention her teachings). Most of all, warn others and try to get them execommunicated from the body of Christ. Wolves have no business in the Lord's body.
