I knew this girl slightly - I work at the college she attended - and this really has people shook up. She was a sweet kid and very well liked, and it was a sick and horrible way to go.

For all the people saying they should have waited for a town...you may be right, but the exits up this way are few and far between.

The driver will have this following him for a long, long time. Hopefully he learns something.

Bakery? Who needs a bakery???? Get to your nearest supermarket and purchase a tin of Pillsbury (I don't know how to spell) croissants - the type you unroll and bake. Oh! Get the regular size and NOT a non-fat ANYTHING. Then buy a bag of GOOD chocolate chips (get the richest chocolate ones you can). Go home. Pre-heat the oven, lay the croissants flat and place chocolate chips on them - then roll them up. Bake until nicely golden and enjoy! I bake these all the time! Got an e-mail from a co-worker who said it brought back memories of when she was a child in Sweden, of all places! The chocolate I use for these croissants are Ghirardelli Double-Chocolate, though my husband prefers their Semi-sweet chocolate chips. It's the small details that make life nice!

"You don't have to drink and drive to be an idiot--driving 90 MPH on country roads while fumbling with 8 track tapes was my downfall."

You're bringing back memories of my rode hard and put up wet 72' Mustang GT. For $350 it came with about a dozen eight track tapes and a left front wheel that came off and rolled down the road as I skidded to a stop on main street. It was the first car I ever bought with my own money. Wasn't much of a car but I loved the way it felt when you jammed one of those tapes in the slot and cranked up the volume.
