I had a friend who took a lie detector test on 60 minutes, twice, he said he did it one time, and said he didnt the next time. He passed both.

And that was the reason she went public. . .to set the record straight. . .she did NOT perform the act (contrary to the AS article).

Understand that I'm no Clinton supporter -- my Freeper credentials are solid.

And understand that as a legal and moral matter, Clinton was just as wrong, and just as guilty, of sexual harrassment, under my interpretation of the actual facts.

But in my view (based on all the facts and evidence, contemporaneous statements, 3rd party statements, her reported and admitted behavior afterwords, i.e. at work, the accounts, the denials, etc) -- the most likely scenario is that Paula actually DID perform the requested act, under improper duress or otherwise.

That's my view. Of course I know she denied it. One expects that. She was/is a married woman, after all.

I hope that you understand that it's usually the case in sex accusations that both sides are lying to varying extents -- but that doesn't prevent us from reasonably determining what likely happened, or prevent us from making moral judgments. Clinton WAS wrong, he did perjure himself, he deserved to be impeached.

Per my earlier response, the reason she went public was to get even (deservedly) with Clinton for what he did.

The part of her charge that he requested sex (in a coercive setting, as an employer, etc) was true and correct, and that was the Clinton-damning part, as a legal matter.

The part of her response that she refused was a white lie, and did not undermine the legal merits of the issue.

Hysterical exaggeration is one of the least effective methods of making a point.

McFei has done NOTHING. It is a joke to any who have actually read it which I am sure you have not.

WHo really cares. That is old news and so is she. We have other more important problems to worry about than old Clinton news.

McFei has done NOTHING.

Except increase cynicism, disrepect for the law and the influence of special interests.

No it has done none of those things and has stopped NO ONE but the most abject idiots from doing just what they want. Personally the fewer idiots we hear from the better.

Look at the enormous impact of the Swift Boat guys for an example of just how ineffective the stupid law is.

I understand the point you are making, but I do not agree.

According to the AS she did the deed and when the allegation became "public" she wanted to refute the charges.

I was at the Omni hotel attending CPAC when she held her first press conference. Was kinda funny how that happened. I saw the room full of media types and there were door guards to prohibit just anyone (non-media) to enter. I went down the hall, checking each door that opened into the room. I found an unlocked door and went in. I went to the second row from the front, left side, because there were open seats. Just prior to the press conference some guy (can't recall who) stepped up in front of everyone and asked, "Does everyone here have a press kit?" Hmmm. . .I didn't so I raised my hand and a press kit was delivered to me.

I found her credible from the start. Being naive in the ways of Wash DC and standing in front of all that media, and she isn't the brightest bulb in the pack, if she wasn't truthful she would have been caught out straightaway. She spoke the truth. She said Clinton asked her to perform a sex act, she refused. No matter how much the media hounded her she would not describe the "act." Finally some media toad hollered, "Blowjob?" Idiot.

Hannity had Paula on H&C tonight -- they talked about her recent lie detector test on TV. She said she did it, to prove to people that she didn't lie. Apparently they ask her many questions, but only show a couple on TV, and she passed them all with flying colors.

She did very well on the interview, even when that snake Colmes was trying to get her to admit that she engaged in consentual activities. She was sincere, poised and smarter, than she looks.

I never doubted her. She had no reason to make this up.

You are so right! Clinton is a Malignant Narcissist. Maglignant because his narcissism caused so much pain to other people, millions of us.

I wish we could get ALL Democrats to read "SELL OUT"
My liberal college roommate who is now a liberal teacher on the left coast told me she would read it if I got it for her. David told it exactly like it happened. He was so disappointed/angry/upset I don't know which word to use here, that they didn't prosecute Clintoon in the Senate -- The spineless Senate with no balls.

YEah, the men are scum on Lifetime, but the women all sleep with their "best friend's" husband too. The women aren't much better, except for the little heroine.

Years ago, I tried to convince a producer to get all the women together on stage

They would have to rent the Astrodome to have a stage big enough for "all the women."

Question. Why would it be wrong to try to determine if the situation was consensual?

I've had several conversations with Schippers and had him twice on my radio show. After Hyde choose him for the job, he thought he would be there a short time and wrap it up in a few weeks. He was astounded at the amount of criminality he discovered. For those who don't know, Schippers was a lifelong Democrat and twice voted for Clinton. Until he looked into it, he had no idea of the depths to which the evil pair would go.
