Teresa Heinz: Bush Win Suspicious

Embittered first-lady wannabe Teresa Heinz is questioning whether President Bush's re-election victory last November was legitimate, saying that many of the country's voting machines could have been "hacked."

"Two brothers own 80 percent of the machines used in the United States," Heinz told a lunch for Seattle Rep. Adam Smith on Saturday, referring to the brothers as "hard right" Republicans.

She argued that it is "very easy to hack into the mother machines," in quotes picked up by the Seattle Post Intelligencer.

"We in the United States are not a banana republic," added the Mozambican-born billionairess.

Heinz urged Democrats to insist on "accountability and transparency" in how votes are counted, and said the integrity of future elections hangs in the balance.

"I think we should focus on '06: If '06 doesn't work out, '08 will be impossible," she told the Democratic group, adding: "I fear for '06. I don't trust it the way it is right now."

Good grief, get a life! The left is insane. They sold out America. They cheated in 2000, and still lost. They hate Bush because he sees things in black and white. He understands the magnitude of the struggle between free people and free ideas against people who wish to systematically control the state and control your life.

This struggle is not new. These people really have no moral base.

They can start by asking for transparency here in WA.

Embittered old woman that spent part of her fortune to finance a losing investment. Her Husband.

I will give her one point. Should Republicans, and I really mean Senate Republicans, get their act together, perform well, Dems continue on the same path, and we rack up one accomplishment after another...

We'll pick up seats in '06 and '08 the candidate, whomever it is, will be bolstered by a strong argument the RNC will make to continue to trust Republican leadership in these times. I continue to maintain our best hope for success in '08 is related to how we govern. Not who our candidate is, and not who theirs is.

"Two brothers own 80 percent of the machines used in the United States,"

Wow, and to think of all the money we in Philadelphia wasted in buying and maintaining voting machines!  We should just have borrowed them from these guys like everybody else seems to be doing.

This is just part of the overall D plan to erode confidence in our electoral process.  They're never going to be able to win on ideas and ideologies, so figure out a way to rid the country of the mechanism that keeps them in power.

Somebody tell me again why we think D's hate America?

The leftists are scary. When you see how they think, can you doubt what they will do if they obtain power? So the manufacturers of voting technology would be thrown in jail (maybe shot) for the "wrong" results.

Honest citizens know that the efforts to prevent a "transparent" voting system come from the left.
