Mysterious deaths weaken the ‘left-wing media’ myth and strengthen BFEE conspiracy
The Daily O'Collegian (Oklahoma State U. Stillwater) ^ | March 7, 2005 | Brent Battle - drmmr02bpa@hotmail.com

Posted on 03/07/2005 8:50:12 AM PST by rface

“They’re gonna make it look like suicide,” Hunter Thompson told his friend at the Toronto Globe. “I know how these bastards think.”

A common misconception some are led to believe is that the mainstream press has a liberal bias.

Those ascribing to the “liberal bias” myth believe the press will take any attempt to tarnish the President and other right-wingers credibility and reputations.

If this were so, surely they would’ve picked up on the suspicious suicides of people pointing fingers at our government leaders — Hunter S. Thompson, Gary Webb, Terrance Yeakey and Margie Schoedinger.

Ironically, all four lives ended before evidence could be presented calling out the political heads involved in corruption and scandals.

The night before Thompson’s death, he told his friend at the Toronto Globe he had been working on a book regarding the Sept. 11 attacks being a controlled demolition — strategically placed explosives.

He claimed “hard evidence” gathered proves the buildings were not brought down by planes and was afraid he might be “suicided.”

In our own state, former Oklahoma City Police Officer Terrance Yeakey was one of the first responders to the Murrah Building bombing on April 19, 1995.

He was working on presenting evidence to the public about the bombing being a government cover-up, but he was found dead in a field in El Reno.

The report claimed he slit both his wrist, stabbed himself in both sides of the jugular, then walked from his car a mile and a half and shot himself.

“The bullet entered the upper temple on the right side and exited below the upper jaw bone on the left side, meaning the gun would have been pointed in a downward angle - a most unlikely way for a person bent on suicide to hold a gun,” according to the Spotlight, an Internet news source.

One witness said the inside of Yeakey’s car looked like someone had slaughtered a pig.

Gary Webb, who died last December, was working on a book about the government cover-up of CIA drug smuggling in the 1980s. His findings will be highlighted in the film “American Drug War” by Alex Jones.

The clip he will use is from a special by MSNBC on the drug-smuggling featuring Webb. Following Webb’s mysterious death, no follow-up story has been made by MSNBC.

The only hole in the story noticeable on the surface was how Webb managed to shoot himself in the head twice.

Like Thompson and Yeakey, Webb’s friends and family saw no indication he was a man about to end his own life. In addition, none of them left suicide notes. In fact, Thompson, Yeakey and Webb were working on something monumental.

The most interesting death thus far is the alleged suicide Margie Shoedinger, the only woman who has accused President Bush of sexual assault.

After Shoedinger died on Sept. 22, 2003, the only news organizations to run this story were the one in her local town and the “New Nation” in London, a very small circulated paper. The story has gone virtually unnoticed, completely blacked out from the public eye.

One would assume if the media in this country hates Bush and Republicans so much, they would run more stories like these. But that is the lie being spread on television and radio — that a “liberal media” bias truly exists.

Isn’t it strange those deeply involved in the mainstream press, like Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity, are saying there is a liberal bias?

Most importantly, we should be asking ourselves who controls the mainstream news and what exactly constitutes “news worthy.” Last week the news organizations couldn’t stop talking about Martha Stewart and Michael Jackson.

Who cares?

“They’re gonna make it look like suicide,” Thompson told his friend at the Toronto Globe. “I know how these bastards think.”

Oh Brother. Let me guess? He would have alleged the plot was conceived by either the Illuminati, the CFR, or by the Elders of Zion, and that Bush had a direct hand. Sounds like ol' Hunter did the right thing after all.

Yeah, sure, HST was "suicided" in a house filled with relatives and while on the phone with his wife, who could hear the shot.

It's completely stunning that, rather than recognize the reality that the President's War on Terror is succeeding, the Left prefers to run to the "refuge" of wacko conspiracy theories. They're almost gleefully marginalizing themselves.

Margie Shoedinger, had a court case pending that claims both she and her husband were raped by George W. Bush while she was dating Bush in the 1970s. Shoedinger's lawsuit was halted when she was found dead, apparently of a self-inflicted bullet wound.

Here is a little bit about Mrs. Shoedinger.

I think the lefties want to believe that we "off" troublesome noise makers. It would make what they do seem dangerous and heroic. They are just self-important idiots who like to pat each other on the back and tell each other how brave they are to fight the system.

In reality they aren't even one tenth as brave as a US soldier or the average Iraqi voter who stands up against real tyranny.

That Bush is such a genuis or it is Karl Rove. They knew what time and what floors the planes would hit so they could blow up the building and make it collasps from those floors down. Of course we all know the Pentagon wasn't even hit by a plane according to some 'evidence'. I am not sure what happened to that plane with all those people on board, maybe it is still flying around somewhere.

The press is not liberal because it does not run white-knuckled tin-foil "Robot Cowboy Zombie Squids Are Raping American Women In Their Sleep" stories.

Gotchya.

Isn’t it strange those deeply involved in the mainstream press, like Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity, are saying there is a liberal bias?

The press is not liberal even though they self-report an 80% membership in the Democrat party and have been polled as voting for Kerry and Gore in the 90% region.

Gotchya.

Looks like Brent Battle's battle, is a battle with insanity.

By Hundred Percenter News Wires
MichNews.com
Dec 28, 2004

Before we leave 2004, HundredPercenter wants to make sure that the phrase "left wing moonbat" is properly defined. The year 2004, as far as HP is concerned, will forever be the year when the moonbats broke the Democrat establishment, and turned the DNC into a traveling circus act for all the world to laugh and jeer at. Therefore, it is imperative that we define them now, for the sake of historical reference.

You may be a left wing moonbat if you believe Michael Moore is a great patriot.

You may be a left wing moonbat if the war on terrorism means the defeat of George Bush.

You may be a left wing moonbat if you believed France would have sent troops to Iraq, if John Kerry was elected.

You may be a left wing moonbat if you believe Hollywood stars are the "heart and soul" of America.

You may be a left wing moonbat if you believe Islam really does mean peace.

You may be a left wing moonbat if you wear environmentally friendly garments.

You may be a left wing moonbat if you believe KFC is committing the holocaust of chickens.

You may be a left wing moonbat if you have protested against globalization or Starbucks.

You may be a supreme left wing moonbat if the protest was more than 1,000 miles away from where you reside.

You may be a left wing moonbat if you believe the NY Times is a centrist newspaper without an agenda.

You may be a left wing moonbat if you cried when Dan Rather and Tom Brokaw resigned.

You may be a left wing moonbat if you voted Dennis Kucinich for President.

You may be a left wing moonbat if a Christmas tree offends you.

You may be a left wing moonbat if you believe the Iraqi terrorists are the good guys.

You may be a left wing moonbat if you believe Eminem and P. Diddy are the voices of the young generation.

You may be a left wing moonbat if you drive an electric car.

You may be a supreme left wing moonbat if you drive an electric car and own a Gulfstream jet.

You may be a left wing moonbat if you have posted on DemocraticUnderground more than 1,000 times.

You may be a left wing moonbat if you take Jon Stewart seriously.

You may be a left wing moonbat if you listen to Air America for news.

You may be a left wing moonbat if you believe Rush Limbaugh is evil.

You may be a left wing moonbat if you think taxes are too low.

You may be a left wing moonbat if you went to a Woodstock concert, more than once.

You may be a left wing moonbat if you believe Howard Dean would be a great DNC Chairman.

You may be a left wing moonbat if you moved to Canada because Bush won the election.

You may be a left wing moonbat if you thought Arafat was a great leader.

You may be a left wing moonbat if your name is George Soros.

You may be a left wing moonbat if you have attended a gay marriage ceremony.

You may be a left wing moonbat if you wore a Che Guevara t-shirt to work.

You may be a left wing moonbat if you believe Al Gore invented the internet.

You may be a left wing moonbat if you question what the definition of is--is.

You may be a left wing moonbat if you lied about being a war hero, in order to get elected President during wartime.

You may be a left wing moonbat if you still believe John Kerry won the election.

You may be a left wing moonbat if you went to Israel or Iraq to be a human shield.

You may be a left wing moonbat if you consider the events at Abu Ghraib an atrocity.

You may be a supreme left wing moonbat if you believe the beheading of innocent civilians is fair game.

You may be a left wing moonbat if you were insulted by this article.

I love the 911/planted demo charge concept.

It does require that the pilots knew where the charges were in advance, and flew the planes to precicely the correct points.

Of course Hunter S Thompson had proof of that- that's why he was killed!

And his "drug use" was an MK ULTRA method of limiting his credibility...

Do any of you remember the 1978 assassination of Bulgarian dissident Georgi Markov who was killed by poison dart filled with ricin that was fired from an umbrella in London? If so, think how much more sophisticated such weapons have become in the intervening 27 years. Besides, why tap someone like Hunter who could have just ended up dead from either a “self inflicted” overdose or a case of bad drugs. . .

Oo, goodie, my ol pal Alex Jones :)

Any article that even implies that he should be given any kind of attention (other than as a source of humor) is automatically disregarded by me.

I hope that's the same for many others too. He constantly churns out crackpot conspiracy theory "documentaries", and isn't bothered by any fact checking that shows how erroneous they are (evidently).

Actually if the DUmmies get on Alex's "boat o hysteria", it'd be funny. Talk about politics making strange bedfellows!
