Michael Moore is a multi-millionaire.
But of course, that will not satisfy him. He wants more money, more attention. He wants to be center stage. If he lives to be an old man, he will be a very lonely old man.

Thanks for a very enjoyable post. What's the Spanish de nada, literally "for nothing"?
Ole Mikey boy made some pretty good enemies. I found it here.

Had I been in charge of the seating chart, I too would have placed Moore's oversized rear end next to Jimmy Carter; arguably the worst president in American history and a large part of the Palestinian and North Korean problems since his ouster from the White House.
To: His Mordancy
Carter was bad, but LBJ was infinitely worse.

You know, one day the truth is going to come out. Karl Rove was responsible for that seating chart. He tricked Michael Moore into making F-911, too.

'The Contender' was arguably the most disgusting piece of left-wing propaganda produced by Hollywood prior to 'Fahrenheit 9/11'.
To be fair, The Contender was made by an American indie company and foriegn money. No Hollywood studio wanted anything to do with it.

Many blame him for provoking conservative voters and contributing to John Kerry's defeat in the presidential election. It all started with that rant when he got that Oscar for whatever it was they awarded it to him for.
I also think that they denied him any nominations so that they could also do a CYA for not nominating The Passion.

I'd be a little leery of relying on Mr. Urbanski's credibility. Gary Oldham, who is conservative himself, was led to believe that the character he would play in "The Contender" would be a sympathetically drawn conservative congressman. It was, I've read, one of the major reasons he signed on. I also read he was none too happy with what Urbanski did to his character during the shoot.

What is The Contender about, and how was it changed into leftist crap?

I believe the Spanish term, "de nada", roughly translates into "it was nothing", and is a polite response to a compliment. I could be wrong.
Moore, like the rest of his ilk, has severely overestimated his relevance -- in addition to seriously infuriating the rational segments of our society. The moore we hear from him, the better.

It's about a woman Senator (Joan Allen), who is up for the Presidency, who has an indiscretion in her past (college, I believe), and Oldham plays a Conservative congressman who tries to destroy her-he's a real slimeball .

It all started with that rant when he got that Oscar for whatever it was they awarded it to him for. IIRC, Moore's Oscar was for "Columbine", a documentary that was so full of BS that folks started a campaign for Hollywood to retract the award.

I predicted, back before the November election, that MM would have a brief and shining moment as his usefulness peaked, whereupon the Democratic Power Elite would toss him under the bus. It happened and now the Hollywood Power Elite has done the same thing. (Anyone need a couple of junk buses?)

Michael Moore's current agent is ex-Clintonista Rahm Emanuel's disgusting and loathed brother. Jeremy Piven plays a character that's supposed to be Emanuel on "The Entourage"..

<< Regardless, let's hope that the Democratic Party will be more discriminating of whom they seat with a former president like Jimmy Carter at their next convention. >>
That's the only time I've ever seen Moore looking [Relatively] ok.
Even felt a little sorry for the L-for-Let-me-out-of-here-fLashing, bat, fastard.
