Although I agree with much of what you said, always remember that Bill Clinton never received a majority of votes. HRC is definitely beatable. Go Condi.

She is far more dangerous than Bill ever was. He was a joke, his wife is a Marxist.

Some people love Bill Clinton, but remember in neither election did he get 50% of the vote. He only won because of third party candidates.

Biden is a total buffoon.

If I heard him say, "no problem, we will pass this and Scotus will fix it." a hundred times, I would not be exaggerating.

He refuses, as other do to uphold the constitution and do his job as directed.

He is a flake.

Below is the beltway buzz: (W's nickname for Condi is 44)

CHENEY AND CONDI
Dr. Jack Wheeler
Thursday, February 17, 2005

There’s a red-breasted rumor bird that’s been flying around Washington for a while now, but recently it’s been nesting in Capitol Hill. Talk to just about any Congressional Committee Chairman and they’ll tell what this bird has whispered in their ear.

“We all know that Dick Cheney has been the best Vice-President of modern times, perhaps in American history,” one told me. “And we know that he absolutely will not run for President in 2008. Further, he has an unfortunate history of heart trouble. So let’s just say none of us will be surprised if, sometime next year, he will step down from the Vice-Presidency due to his health.

“Should this happen, President Bush would need to appoint his replacement, just as Richard Nixon chose Gerald Ford to replace Spiro Agnew. It is quite clear to us whom the President would choose should he need to: Condoleezza Rice.”

Being a sitting Vice-President places Condi in an impregnable position for the GOP nomination in 2008, and sucks every breath of wind from Hillary’s sails. Historically, it’s hard for a party to keep the White House after they’ve had it for eight years. This is George Bush and Dick Cheney’s way to buck history – and make it.

The possibility of Condi as VP next year comes clear in the context of Dick Cheney’s pithy observation of George W. Bush: “He has the biggest set of balls of anyone I have ever known.”

Why is the "Senators can't win the Presidency" rule never applied to Comrade Hillary?

You have a point but I think the idea that she was in the White House for 8 years with her husband and seemed to have more push than Al Gore did could be the reason for that. But that's just a guess.

I have a feeling the Pubbies will do a '96 and just run someone--sort of like the Dems did in '04.

There isn't a recognizable Pubbie name that could win against hClinton. Unless the Pubbies find a strong new face, the WH will be Hillary's---for 8 years.

Guiliani, McCain, Hagel, Lindsay, Gingrich, etc. Not one will win against her. And by the '08 election cycle, she will be to the right of most of the recognizable names on most issues. (A lesson learned from Bill -- move to the right, even right of center, where possible.)

I don't think Cheney is going to step down at all. He didn't when he had the heart attack and what makes the stupid MSM think he is going to step down now. They have been pushing for Cheney to step down since he got in office.

Why is the "Senators can't win the Presidency" rule never applied to Comrade Hillary?

Because this is uncharted territory. She was essential co-president "two for the price of one" for 8 years already.

Don't you know Hillary is on her listening tour. She does this way before she is going to run for any office. She did this a long time before she ran for Senator. If she sees the polls in her favor she will run!

Didn't we just replace all the items the Clintons took from the White House when they left ? Are they going to bring them back ? Or are they coming for more ?
