Correct me if I am wrong but I lived in the greater NY area when she ran for the Senate in 2000. I do not recall her having even ONE press conference, just her and the reporters firing away.

Exactly. And she'll do it again with the help of her friends in the media. Softball, 'pre-approved' questions with prepared answers. Hillary is calculating and shifty (shifts to the right in her rhetoric). I disagree with those who say she could never win the presidency; I thought she could never 'win' the senate race in New York.

I would never underestimate Hillary, for some of the reasons you mention. On the plus side, Hill can hurt herself in unscripted moments. Her sardonic sense of humor rubs people the wrong way, and she runs her mouth at the wrong times -- as with her recent comments about the new Iraqi gov. Hard to believe she'll avoid these mistakes in a presidential campaign.
What we do need is a strong candidate to go up against her. I adore Condi Rice but think never having run for office is a serious problem. Maybe she'd be good VP material, though.

"We're going to take things away from you on behalf of the common good." - Hillary Rodham Clinton June 2004

That and the missing thesis is going to sink schrillary big time.

And don't forget the congenital HEAD BOBBING.

It doesn't matter who Hitlery runs against, as long as the UNIONS are controlled by the Democrats she will win.

Hillary must be passing the crack pipe around again. Delusions of grandeur are the bane of the demo-commies. NSNR.

MOST EXCELLENT....I hope this is a WAKE CALL!! This WITCH must be brought down now! We must fight every inch of the way towards 08 to make sure the ANIMAL *ITCH doesn't make in roads to the presidential elections!! ONE thing that really bothers me, WHERE are the pubs at the Hill?? WHY do they keep catering to the BEAST? I don't understand, the VOMIT from HELL is a greater security risk for this country than Dean, Skerry or the rest of the bumbling RATS! The pubs have sure been silent when it concern the BEAST OF NY!! Remember how Newt was treated in the beginning of his office term....WHERE are the attack dogs for our side?!!

And why is that? Because she is parroting the republican line. She is so dangerous. Rudy just HAS to beat her for senate in 06.

I agree. Hillary is far and away the front runner for 08. The best way to hurt her chances are to stop her in 06.

I agree. We need someone with polished political skills to beat Hillary. Rudi has the skills, but he will be hardpressed to win the primary being a social liberal. McCain is more likely to blunder than Hillary. I haven't seen enough of the other candidates to say, but I have yet seen a shining star.

It is very dangerous for the GOP to have no presumptive nominee at this point. Hillary is going to be way ahead before the first GOP primary.

I am fearful that people are forgetting the ranting and raving she did on behalf of all causes liberal. There's footage of her at rallies yelling about abortion and gay rights, but nobody's showing it. She's was shrill and she was scary. For her to now be called a moderate is revisionism. Someone told me the other day that she understood what was in the true heart of America.

What she really is is the scariest woman in America. She has more faces than Lon Chaney!

With a Clinton in office, once again, the POTUS will really be, TUPOS (The Ultimate...the rest being your reference to her true nature).

Great, then let her become governor of New York, but she's not going to be able to be President of the United States. There is too much history recorded for her to be able to do that. Just running a few film clips, in her own words, will swiftly take her out.

You are correct; I was hasty. I have the pleasure of working with several normal people from upstate new york (Buffalo, Albany, Rochester, etc.) so I'm accepting of being corrected. However, how could the normal folks put Pataki in? I think I know, given we have the same problem in Illinois....

When she became senator, many sceptical New Yorkers — they’re not pushovers — were partly persuaded by the Republican campaign against her.

I disagree. New Yorkers are pushovers. They (at least within the city) elect every socialist and radical leftist in sight, inflicting them on the rest of us. I loved NYC when I visited, but the vaunted "independence" of the New York voter is laughable.

Something quite unusual is happening to Hillary Rodham Clinton

That's right, she's pretending to be a moderate but she's so far left that's she's almost falling off the edge.

And don't forget the congenital HEAD BOBBING.

Bill was trying to teach her about that but she was con genital. Therefore, Lewinski.
