...is it?...
;o)
Frankly, I'm glad she's a knock out. "Beauty AND brains! And a conservative Christian to boot!" However, a woman doesn't have to be a beauty for me to pay attention to what she has to say. Phyllis Schlafly, Dixie Lee Ray, Margaret Thatcher, etc. Love 'em all...
I'm a liberal, and I like to read Ann Coulter. I disagree with her a lot, but she's funny and snarky and completely forthright with her opinions. She's one of my favorite columnists to read when I just want the straight story without the word games and nuances that most writers on politics use. I used to think that her and Ted Rall would be the perfect pair of columnists to write head-to-head, but ever since President Bush was elected in 2000, Ted Rall has been losing the edge of humor that made him worthwhile, and 2004 I think just pushed him past the point of no return. So I don't even know if there's anyone left on the left to match her humor and "call a spade a spade" style.
I agree 100%. She should only be taken internally.
Hey munch -- thanks for a coherent and thoughtful post from a self-described liberal. They are rare here. Perhaps you are a "liberal" in the classic sense. At any rate, welcome to FR. I look forward to your posts, discourse and disagreement ;-).
BTW, the author starts out with a false premise "Ann Coulter hates liberals with an undying passion". No she doesn't "HATE" liberals. She depsises their hypocrisy, the lies, the disingenuosity (if that is a word ) etc etc., but she has NEVER to my knowledge expressed "hatred". Anger, scorn and ridicule sure; but not hated of the individuals. Let's keep to the truth here.
I think Sun Valley is more than Boise. Bush took Boise by 55% and Ada County (in which Boise is located) by about 80%.
Exactly. That's one of the main differences between Libs and Conservatives. We disagree with them, fight against their kooky ideas, and generally win all the arguments (and most of the elections). But we can't work ourselves up into really frothy hate - we're more likely to feel pity.
DING! DING! DING! DING! DING! We have a winner!
That quote is one of the reasons that thinking people have dismissed her as an intellectual lightweight. The idea that anyone should be converted to Christianity by force is in itself, counter to Christianity.
Is that sexist drivel or catty jealousy?
I wouldn't take her any other way.
double_entendre off
LOL.
Ever seen any threads where they demand photos to be posted of the ladies you've mentioned?
I've read a few things by her and thought they were good. But did she actually say that "women shouldn't be allowed to vote"?
I'm sexist?
LOL.
Like I asked the other responder, how many threads do you see on FR where they require photos to be posted of the person in question?
Michele Malkin and Ann Coulter (and the blonde foxnews readers).
My wife is a brunette (at least she was at one time, now after 16 years of marriage to me, she's gray until she hits the hairdresser) and neither is she tall.
My point is about star power, not desirability.
And proud of it! (As are we of her!)
I'm getting really tired of people twisting that quote of hers.
