I'd still like to know how the poll was conducted.
There are enough Pubbie women around who will vote for the Girl ticket unless they are given a reasonable alternative.
Well, FWIW, I know a lot of Dem females, myself included, who wouldn't vote for Hillie for dogcatcher. That's why I'd like to know how that poll was conducted.

American women sit idly by when their rich important husbands disgrace them for 8 years?
I don't think the divorce lawyers would agree.
Hillary was smart enough, however, to reach her goals the easy way.....on her husband's coattails.

Here in Arizona Janet Nepalitano (a good friend of Janet Reno....) also received some Republican women votes. It's hard to figure, choosing gender over ideology and values?!

My experience has been that women I meet that are self described conservative or Republican are more ardently conservative than most men I meet of the same ilk.
Anyone who has been around my wife when the topic of abortion is mentioned can attest to this.
If HillBill is counting on the support of Rep. women to win '08... Happy Days, Happy Days...

It's probably true. Country clubbers and independents may vote for her simply because she's a woman. And although she has done virtually nothing all her life but live on the government dole or pimp for a crooked law firm, she has a reputation as a professional woman.

I wouldn't be surprised if the poll is true. Look how Bill Clinton won two terms.

It was great! Hold on to it for when the NY Senate race starts to get close to the wire. By that time us NY Freepers will be in need of a good laugh because the witch will win by a landslide like UpChuck Schumer did!

why country clubbers?
I don't think so, not from my experience with the country club set I know.
The women aren't the members, their husbands are, and the husband made their dues to the country club by capitalizm. These folks are church goers also.

The Siena survey found that 81 percent of voters say they're ready to vote for a female president, with 63 percent saying the country is ready for a woman in the Oval Office.
Among the names floated by Siena as potential female presidents, Hillary Clinton topped the list, with 53 percent saying they'd support her
Apparently "The Siena Survey" doesn't know that only about fifty percent of ALL registered voters actually vote.. interesting how they bandy about these high prcentages to sway "the great unwashed" into thinking (okay, not thinking) that Hillarious is the next "Great White Hope"..

I wouldn't be surprised if the poll is true. Look how Bill Clinton won two terms.Well we know how he won the first term. We had some goofy Texan with the Senior Bush in his sights, split the Grand Old Party. Please, please let's not let that happen again!
