Move over, Elizabeth Taylor, Jennifer Lopez, Britney Spears and all the others who have traded on their fame to sell a perfume. There is a new name on the counter: Yeslam. The recognition factor may seem low, but it is probably better than Bin Ladin, the marketers nightmare first proposed for the scent.
Back in pre-9/11 days, Yeslam Bin Ladin, a half-brother of the worlds most wanted terrorist, hatched the idea of bringing out the perfume and a line of other luxury items under the Bin Ladin brand. (Most of the family favors that spelling, he says.)
Bin Ladin is a respected name that has been around for many years, especially, of course, in the Middle East, the 54-year-old Saudi citizen explained in the ornate lounge of the Plaza Athénée Hotel this week.
Subsequent events led him to choose his more discreet first name instead. And with Yeslam, a profound yet gentle message in a bottle for all who long for inner peace, according to the advertising copy, he hopes to prove that not all Bin Ladins are alike.

BTW, the rest of the article makes OBL's bro sound like a poofter.
Stuff is probably made from goat sweat and camel dung and fermented in bags made from unwashed bhurkas.....ought to be a big hit in Dearborn, MI.
Whether he admits or not, he's cashing in on his brother's notoriety. No one should buy his perfume. It's not like the bin Laden family doesn't already have enough money.
I would think BinLaden would use a cologne with a little more "hellish" tone to it ;)
Saudi= AC/DC Depends how the current is flowing at any given moment
Most of the siblings in that family, except for a core of 6 or 7, are half-Bros. Osama was probably the most isolated from the family as his mother only had about a year as #4 wife. (Reserve Backup starter on Saudi marriage teams)
No wonder all the perfume bottles in Saddams Chemical labs. Osama was having a marketing mock up.
Eu de Sarin anyone?
Creepy. Does old OBL get some of the 'profits'? Will his bro be 'encouraged' to help with fundraising? I could not help but wonder whether or not I were helping to fund terrorism with each spritz from the bottle, regardless of how nice it was or how far removed this brother is from OBL. Who knows? That might be a selling point for some.
