...But this answer here tells me, and Kerry's request to meet with Bush, I mean, it's not just arrogance, these people are delusional, they're just flat-out delusional, folks. This is why the opportunities before us right now to just advance what we believe and ram it down these people's throats, in a political sense, of course, has never been greater, and we all hope that our elected officials in Washington will, if they don't understand that, realize it soon and act on it. There's no reason to fear these people. There's no reason to. Harry Reid says, "You change the filibuster rule over my dead body!" Fine, lay down. You know, I don't know why these people are to be feared. Now, granted, I'm not in Washington, and I don't live and work in that atmosphere, thankfully. But there's simply no reason to be afraid of these people right now. I'm not saying don't take them seriously as an opponent but there's no reason to fear them. Fear is totally displaced here.

Now, this is sort of a follow-up story to yesterday in which we had the story for you that John Kerry had decided to go ahead and vote for President Bush's latest supplemental request of $81.9 billion for Afghanistan and Iraq". ... Before he votes against it, that is.

I think I overestimated Kerry. He is politically tone deaf if the thought he could gain any mileage from such a silly, obvious stunt. And now he looks like an even bigger tool. HRC probably got a good laugh watching this doofus slip on this bannana peel.

A meeting definitely needs to be arranged - between Kerry and the 2nd Deputy Assistant Undersecretary for Foreign Affairs.

There's been a pic around here lately of Kerry and Dean having what looks for all the world like a two-dork circle jerk.
It would fit this thread nicely if someone happened to have saved it.

Name one so called MAIN Stream Right Wing Media
personality that has asked,
in 2005,
these questions?
"Asked Kerry when he will sign Form 180.
Or why Kerry is still in the US Senate.
This is in violation of
U.S. Constitution Amendment 14 Sec 3
Or when Kerry will set the record straight
on his false testimony in April 71"
BUT he's still attacking President Bush in '05

Judging from recent comments from Kerry, he is trying to co-opt the soldier benefits issue. Although Bush has already signalled that he is in favor of increasing the military benefits Kerry has been outspoken in increasing them as well. I think they are in competition to see who will get the credit from the public for this.
