Kerry Offer Rejected by White House
rushlimbaugh.com ^ | 2/16/05 | transcript

... "Senator Kerry has offered to meet privately with President Bush to discuss foreign policy before Bush flies abroad next week and has meetings with key European leaders. Kerry..." No, I'm not kidding. Kerry actually called Bush and said he "offered to get together with him to discuss foreign affairs." I guess because Kerry just got back from there, and Kerry wanted to talk with Bush. "The offer has fallen on deaf ears at the White House. Kerry spokesman David Wade said yesterday, 'We've offered to have Senator Kerry meet with President Bush to discuss his trip to Iraq, if the White House is interested. There are many areas where genuine bipartisanship would make a difference in leading our country forward, whether in national security or children's health care. As of last night Kerry had not received any response from the White House,'" which is good. They're ignoring him. Why should they? Why should they meet with Kerry? Why even ask this? Well, I can understand from Kerry. I mean, it's typical of who he is. Now, this is sort of a follow-up story to yesterday in which we had the story for you that John Kerry had decided to go ahead and vote for President Bush's latest supplemental request of $81.9 billion for Afghanistan and Iraq". ...

This is a joke, right?

That is like asking the Captain of the Titanic for directions or Benedict Arnold for advice on National Security.

I fully expect him to interject himself into the Syria/Iran situation, showing up on camera to meet with the Jr. Dictator of Syria. I give it about 48 hours.

Kerry comes across a bit as Alfredo trying to intervene with Michael Corleone's negotiations for the casino in Las Vegas. I'm sure he was representing someone in Europe, but it was not the United States of America.

That's right they are a bunch of losers but that means the republican party has no excuse not to make change. The border and immigration issues should be changed immediately before the warnings coming from Rumsfield and others become a reality. There are a lot of important issues that the president needs to address while he has the upper hand.

Amazing that Imus radio and Russert on tv had the courage to bring this up.

And they are both Left Wing MAIN Stream Media.

Why is the Right Wing MAIN Stream Media afraid of Hanoi Kerry?

My guess is that Kerry thinks he is in some position to make a deal for himself. The hubris is astounding. But this is the man who went to Iraq and badmouthed the CIC. Why do I keep getting shocked at this man? I just can't keep up with his arrogant presumptious actions no matter how hard I try.

You are precluding the possibility that he is really does represent European interests. He could be one of their men in the Senate (and almost the Presidency).

The SF 180 form dispute has Kerry in a tizzy.

He is not running for president in 2008, he is trying to protect his Senate seat in 2008. Kerry, plain and simply does not have the stones to risk his senate seat in 2008 by running for president again.

The 2004 election was his only chance at the White House. Kerry is over as a presidential candidate, and he is going to make himself as relevant and vociferous as he can between now and 2008 in order to protect his present status.

The Swifties have spooked this POS big time.

Good!

Ignored is different than rejected.

Rejected implies weight given and a thought about it.
Ignored means...a no thought "Take a Hicolonic"

Imus says he is still a registered Republican, although I know he supported Kerry this time.

Russert is a decent guy and makes an attempt at fair journalism.
