Kerry Offer Rejected by White House
rushlimbaugh.com ^ | 2/16/05 | transcript

... "Senator Kerry has offered to meet privately with President Bush to discuss foreign policy before Bush flies abroad next week and has meetings with key European leaders. Kerry..." No, I'm not kidding. Kerry actually called Bush and said he "offered to get together with him to discuss foreign affairs." I guess because Kerry just got back from there, and Kerry wanted to talk with Bush. "The offer has fallen on deaf ears at the White House. Kerry spokesman David Wade said yesterday, 'We've offered to have Senator Kerry meet with President Bush to discuss his trip to Iraq, if the White House is interested. There are many areas where genuine bipartisanship would make a difference in leading our country forward, whether in national security or children's health care. As of last night Kerry had not received any response from the White House,'" which is good. They're ignoring him. Why should they? Why should they meet with Kerry? Why even ask this? Well, I can understand from Kerry. I mean, it's typical of who he is. Now, this is sort of a follow-up story to yesterday in which we had the story for you that John Kerry had decided to go ahead and vote for President Bush's latest supplemental request of $81.9 billion for Afghanistan and Iraq". ...

Name one so called MAIN Stream Right Wing Media
personality that has asked,

in 2005,

these questions?

"Asked Kerry when he will sign Form 180.

Or why Kerry is still in the US Senate.
This is in violation of
U.S. Constitution Amendment 14 Sec 3

Or when Kerry will set the record straight
on his false testimony in April 71"

BUT he's still attacking President Bush in '05

Judging from recent comments from Kerry, he is trying to co-opt the soldier benefits issue. Although Bush has already signalled that he is in favor of increasing the military benefits Kerry has been outspoken in increasing them as well. I think they are in competition to see who will get the credit from the public for this.

Trivia: Only one failed party nominee went back to Congress after losing since 1940. Name him.

(I haven't checked before 1940.)

I was going to reply to this thread, but I afraid I have to go:

My young son has offered to meet privately with me to discuss if he can have some more ice cream.

I should add, that I'm talking about people who returned immediately to Congress and not somebody who was elected later.

"Harry Reid says, "You change the filibuster rule over my dead body!" Fine, lay down."

Best laugh I've had all day. Now Bill Frist... make it happen!

One more thing - if John Kerry is crying out for attention so much, why doesn't he just come to Buffalo to make a speech on abortion and then pass out at the podium? Worked for Hillary! In fact, why don't all the rats try that?

This was my biggest laugh of the day.

Kerry really believes he's supposed to be President. He's flying all across the world to meet with people he has no authority to offer anything to, pretending the president's successes are his own, and then offering to prep a two term president on how to deal with world affairs. This from the one wrong about the Soviet Union, wrong about the Viet Cong, wrong about the U.N. and wrong about Iraq. It's too rich.

I'm with you. Kerry's arrogance is astounding. He actually thinks he's going to get the nomination in '08 and the WH. T'ain't going to happen. What's left of the MSM and 'rat party will see to that. We're in for some fun down the road...

Hey, Kerry! If you're all about cooperation and working together, why were you one of the few Democrats to vote against Condi Rice's nomination for Secretary of State? Sore Loser Kerry should realize that maybe the Bush administration is shunning him because he's acting like a whiny, two-faced six-year-old kid.

Does Kerry want to give Bush lessons in how to act French? How to be a snivelling, appeasing coward?
