This is next strange signal from Moscow. Of course there is no Polish soldier figure, even if we had more troops than free French, do not even compare their attitude to fight.

No Greek monument? The Greek navy and Merchant Marine was a major part of the supply route to Russia from America plus the fact they defeated and delayed Germany allowed for winter to overtake the Germans short of Moscow. Dman Putin!

Actually Moscow should have a monument to the Greeks. Hitler was forced to delay Operation Barbarossa because the Greeks were kicking Mussolini's a$$, and Hitler had to bail the Italians out.

But let's be fair, the Greeks were fighting the Italians, not the Germans, big difference. Once the Germans entered the fray, the Greeks capitulated quickly.

Destro polish troops fought since the beginning to the end of the war if you don’t know. Even in Staliningrad battle. If Greeks would be in Polish position, then maybe your argument would be correct. I repeat once again, for me they may erect Greek monument as well, this case have nothing to do with this situation

Greeks were very brave during WWII, not less than Poles and Serbs. And they had good army too! Problems was that Greece was very small.

Very sad text (Russian leadership appears to promote negative image of Poland in Russia and abroad).

But what else could be expected - for several years Polish politicans and opinion-makers were engaged in anti-Russian PR. It is not so important if it was justified historically or not. What matters that it did not improve the mutual relations between the two countries.

If a given country perceives another as hostile it is a logical response to work on weakening the adversary.

There was time in history of Poland (XVIIIc) when Machiavellian Prussia desired to grab Polish territory in order to connect with other German lands and to expand. Prussian agents manipulated weak Poland to untimely anti-Russian actions. As a result Russia invaded and in the following partition agreements MOST of Polish ethnic land ended up in Prussian and Austrian hands! (Warsaw, Lublin, Cracow, Poznan, and Lvov areas while Russia got Ukraine, Byelorus and Baltics).

I agree that Polish-Russian relations should be better. I don’t want to defend Polish politicians but Russian side is often giving many reasons to argue with them. Other thing is that they trying to discredit Poland and in fact they discrediting themselves.
