"Today they get married--tomorrow they will be out cruising the gay bars."

However, if they stay in a one partner relationship, that would be a good outcome.

"Cheapening the institution of marriage? Traditional couples have done that on their own," said Dean, 35. "The divorce rate is extremely high. We're not looking to cheapen marriage, but to be recognized. There have been many couples together for long periods of time in a committed monogamous relationship, and they deserve the same rights."

Sadly, a lot of heterosexuals have done that, cheapening the institution of marriage.

Examples of men being involved in extramarital affairs (adultery):

1. Bill Clinton

2. Newt (he even made the list)

3. All the other celebirities that make the scandal sheets

4. Prince Charles

Examples of women that have done their part to cheapen marriage:
1. Hillary Clinton

2. Princess Diana (she was supposed to have had some affairs while Charles was out playing)

3. All the celebrities that have been featured in the scandal sheets

The queers are spreading out, I expected this to be in the Montrose area.

Actually it's north and quite a bit west of Montrose.

It's not far from my house. I just drove past there, and didn't see anybody. Perhaps it's later today.

Definitely not the "gay" area of town.

Yes, they can put lipstick on a pig (same-sex marriages) but it's still a pig.

It's not in Montrose? I don't live in Texas anymore, and when I read about this I thought it would be in Montrose also.

Where is it?

WOW,,,,,,,,,,,well put!

Thay also want this legal everywhere for purposes of infiltrating all public schools. If marriage is legal, then we have no say about them teaching in our schools, no leg to stand on to fight that. Or so they think. That is the ultimate goal, to indocrinate all children.

No... I distinctly remember it was Ben Vereen.

Shortly after that, he breaks out into a song and dance number... :) LOL

What a memory... I think I will turn myself in.

How can anything involving homosexual practice have a "good outcome"? There is NO comparison between disordered homosexuality and natural heterosexuality...

The point is from a public health standpoint, stable single partner relationships are much less of problem.

Gay marriage isnt about a loving relationship between two people. You can have that and not call it marriage there are many such heterosexual relationships. Marriage for homosexuals is about health insurance for the gay spouse who cant get insurance because he already has Aids., Its about a pension that can be passed along to a gay spouse, Its about claiming estate property, its about Money.

Two men can commit to living together without calling their perversion something it is not. It isnt marriage. If you wish to live witn a commitment make one, go to your lawyer and draw up a Will leaving everything to your friend. Its a free country do what you like just dont try to change marriage because your relationship is not marriage unless you can find a way two men or two women can bear children without going to the opposite sex for the necessities.

With groups like "Dykes for Dean" as his biggest fans, it's for sure that the Dems will be stuck with the pervert vote for decades. Good.

"Woe to those that call evil good and good evil."

To be prideful of what is shameful is beyond disgusting.

The point is from a public health standpoint, stable single partner relationships are much less of problem.

There you go again comparing heterosexual with homosexual and expecting correlation to be a given... IT is not a given... homosexuality is a disorder -as such the pseudo relationships are disordered AND have always been practiced (like most deviant behavior) in secret until recent brazen efforts to become accepted by judicial fiat have transpired... All information thus far points to the opposite of the pro-homosexual assumption pushed by homosexual activists ... homosexuals play house --homosexuals can not be married, can not produce children, etcetera...

In other words, a village of homosexuals would die out after one generation -hence NOT a good societal investment... From a public health standpoint - homosexuals are dropping like flies -they are damaged goods UNLESS they practice chastity... Regardless, the public decides the public good AND homosexuals will be denied by the public; THEREFORE, the public good is served in spite of the pro-homosexuals that suggest it isn't....

I lived in this entire area while I was a child.
I haven't been in the area in at least 20 or more years.
Washington Avenue was a major northwest leading street in those days, pre Memorial Drive.
The numbered streets were east of Washington Avenue and crossed Heights Blvd and Shepard. Some crossed Magnum (sp)Road.
West 11th street is almost due north of downtown Houston.
It is North and east of the Montrose area.
