20 years MAX??? Why not DEATH? 20 means 10 and with good behavior she gets 5-7 years. Pathetic sentence for what amounts to TREASON!!

Whatever happened to that woman from Takoma Park with similar charges lodged against her?
To: Grampa Dave
Once convicted, disbarment is not far behind.

They will but that fat wag will be changed to a 25 year old white guy and the terrorists will be a Bible school.

You could throw that in a suit and tie, no-one would be the wiser.

Excellent. Lawyers are not above the law; it's about time all lawyers learned and applied that lesson.
As an attorney myself, I don't have a high opinion of my profession. Read Matthew 23; if you substitute the word "Pharisee" with "Lawyer" very little, if any, is lost in the way of meaning.
Yesterday's Pharisees are today's lawyers.

Now will this left ACLU Terrorist Lesbian Lawyer get disbarred and do some jail time? Sentencing guidelines should require her to do some time, and with a Felony Conviction, disbarrment is automatic.

No biggie. I was just looking at the AP flash...
NEW YORK (AP) -- A veteran civil rights lawyer was convicted Thursday of crossing the line by smuggling messages of violence from one of her jailed clients -- a radical Egyptian sheik -- to his terrorist disciples on the outside. The jury has been deliberating off-and-on over the past month in the case of Lynne Stewart, 65, a firebrand, left-wing activist known for representing radicals and revolutionaries in her 30 years on the New York legal scene. The jury deliberated 13 days in all. Stewart faces up to 20 years in prison on charges of giving material support to terrorists and defrauding the U.S. government. The trial focused attention on the line between zealous advocacy and criminal behavior by a lawyer. Some defense lawyers saw the case as a government warning to attorneys to tread carefully in terrorism cases. The jury also convicted a U.S. postal worker, Ahmed Abdel Sattar, of plotting to "kill and kidnap persons in a foreign country" by publishing an edict urging the killing of Jews and their supporters. A third defendant, Arabic interpreter Mohamed Yousry, was convicted of providing material support to terrorists. Sattar could face life in prison and Yousry up to 20 years. Shoot, just go to Luke 11:46 and 11:52 (KJV) . . .
Luke 11:46
And he said, Woe unto you also, ye lawyers! for ye lade men with burdens grievous to be borne, and ye yourselves touch not the burdens with one of your fingers.
Luke 11:52
Woe unto you, lawyers! for ye have taken away the key of knowledge: ye entered not in yourselves, and them that were entering in ye hindered.
The Pharisees were "doctors of the law", which I suppose was the contemporary equivalent of a J.D.
And yeah, I'm another one that these jokers are making look bad . . . :-(

A Traitor being convicted is good news.
A Traitor receiving the death penalty would be better.
