So, the glaring question raised in this article was left as neither asked nor answered: What is the 'law' passed by the Washington legislature regarding resolution of disputed elections?

If the legislature is bound to make law, and has failed to do their duty in establishing said law, then the only possible resolution is in the courts (as much as I hate the idea of another election being impacted from the bench). Any action of the legislature at this point, if no law is in place, could be argued as ex-post facto legal application.

The State Supreme Court can overturn a lower court decision but evidence will be presented in open court before the Supremes can ultimately rig the outcome.

A rigged Supreme Court decision which denies all the evidence presented in a lower court will not only undermine confidence in the election of the governor but in the entire state legal system.

I do not think it is now possible to have honest elections in any state dominated by Democrats. They have always subscribed to the tenet "The ends justify the means."

Once evidence is presented in open court, and its validity upheld under cross examination, and a decision made by the lower court, the state supremes would have to be much more careful in how they handled it. An obviously-out-to-lunch overturning would invite federal oversight

Actually, I was quoting somebody else about "Washington State being all democrat". I was assuming that the individual was referring to the overwhelming rat majorities in our Senate and House (compliments of the Puget Sound area). My comment was directed to the Line-Item Veto, which a Republican could use to shred their legislation.

I live in Seattle. No need to look at a map. I know in which counties the commies congregate - in mine, mainly. :-(
