Tammy Warner told police that she found her husband dead in their bed. Maybe that's why she killed him.

I remember around Ithaca a man once gave himself a vodka enema on the theory that, if he needed to drive, he wouldnt get caught for DWI b/c the police wouldnt be able to smell it on his breath.I knew kids who snorted booze on that theory.

That was in Lubbock,TX 1996. Draw your own conclusions. Not much doin' in Lubbock, huh?
Last time I was in Lubbock was about a week after the 1970 tornado.
The sirens went off that evening and the motel staff didn't hesitate. They herded all the guests into the motel's tornado shelter.
Problem was, the private club & bar served as the motel's tornado shelter. And the act they'd booked was a pair of strippers, who bravely adopted the attitude that "the show must go on". And there were families with children in the audience...
Not often that you can juxtapose a stripper down to her G-string and pasties cracking crowd response jokes with a family crowd...
Stripper: "Y'all know what a pleasant surprise is?"
Crowd: "NO!"
Stripper: "A t_t full of cold beer!"
You look across the room and there is a lady with a baby on her lap, laughing like crazy...
Odd night...
Only in Lubbock, I guess.
