OK, OK.... Sorry--I'm just venting. I had a miserable, miserable day today dealing with the management weasels dictating unworkable solutions to the engineers.
No, I won't tell you on what program :)
our focus on integration over creation has been a problem, and we've been trying to get reality pushed up the chain...
That's my whole point. Can you imagine what that looks like to a customer?

"OK, OK.... Sorry--I'm just venting."
I have indeed been there. No problemo.
"I had a miserable, miserable day today dealing with the management weasels dictating unworkable solutions to the engineers."
I have been there too. Many are the hoops through which we must jump, and many the managers who light 'em on fire, just to see us sweat.
"Can you imagine what that looks like to a customer?"
Yep. Still better that the other company, by a verrrry long shot. Nothing gives you a warm fuzzy like when a customer says: "Whaaa?!?! You LIED about the specs!?"
Been THERE, too, as a spectator.
I have to go for the evening, have a good one.

Wow! All that from a plane deal! LOL! Over reacting a little aren't you? Anyway, the Air Force isn't going to buy Airbus, just restructure the tanker deal with the 767 so that they get a fair shake.

People of your stripe think you can bankrupt a company's line of business and go back next year for a fair shake. Boeing has been on the front line of an economic war waged by the EU against what is left of America. It's nice to know whose side you and John McCain were on.
