High dosages of LSD don't increase duration, and subsequent doses fade in effectiveness as tolerance builds rapidly.

There are other substances that have that behavior. LSD is not one of them. You're thinking of DOM aka STP which lasts for about 24 hours.

I'm just telling you my experience. I don't think it was possible to take pure LSD without losing your mind completely, it was always mixed with other chemicals. 30 mics would keep you up for at least 48 hours. The effects lasted even longer.

That was exactly my reaction. I picture the Spew Yuck Times author as somebody with a pot gut and a gray pony tail and Birkenstocks and a tie-dye t-shirt and etc. ad nauseum...

That's funny. Can you point to any medical literature that documents this sort of "long term effect?"

The typical dosage in the late 60s was 200-250 micrograms.
These days, blotter acid is usually less than 50.
It doesn't last much more than 8 hours, either way. Increased dosage does not increase duration.
