I guess 20 years of no takers has made Randi even more confident. Somebody oughta tell the guy with friends who have 'proof' of their miraculous healing. Benny needs a new jet.
You'd better watch out. I have an audiotape of him during one of his angry tirades where he said he'd like to use his "holy ghost machine gun" against anyone who dares to question his "teachings".
There's a huge religious kook market out there and he's just pushing their buttons in exchange for money.
The fact that people actually give him their money because he says what they want to hear, says more about them than it does about him.
There was aways the blind leading the blind and there always will be.
Well I am glad your healed..
But that does not dis-count miracle healings. people have them all the time why GOD saves some by his hands and doesn't save others is the Mystery of GOD
But Jesus turned water to wine, he performed Miracles all through-out his ministry.
Benny Hinn does not claim to be a Witch Doctor he gives all credit to the one that deserves it Jesus Christ.
Perhaps because none of them whore themselves out as "miracle-producers" for fundage.
Benny Hinn is a fake.
Because Hinn.
Then why don't you expose him so he does not travel the world attracting thousands at his crusades as a lieing heathen.
This is your Christian Duty.
I get the feeling you didn't really read my post. Instead, you just skipped to the end. I have no problem with Roman Catholics. I have no problem with Southern Baptists. But we're not talking about them. The subject at hand is Hinn, not those other people. Hinn's false prophecies and false teachings lead people away from the Lord of Abraham and Moses.
Why, because he doesn't show himself doing any of these things on his TV shows?
(I'm not saying he is any of those things, but you have zero proof that he's not, unless you have some magic webcam that watches his every movement 24/7.)
I heard a tape, that if I remember correctly, was Hinn. I believe it was played on a Focus on The Family Radio show. It was a prophecy of his that seemed demented. (Because I cant remember exactly the content I will not repeat it, suffice to say that the Focus on The Family people were horrified by his claims).
On the other hand my late father (who was an insulin dependent diabetic, and had much better command of scripture then I do) watched him expecting, although (unfortunately) never receiving a cure. He did not send Hinn money; he believed healing came from God.
Adding two numbers and getting an incorrect result is a mistake. Taking the wrong exit off the freeway is a mistake. A prophesy made in the name of the Lord which does not come to pass shows the prophet to be a false one. Such it has been since the days of Moses.
Exactly. There have always been hucksters and there have always been people who fall for them. There's nothing new under the sun.
I don't know that he is a heathen. He is a liar.
Exposing him is not needed, it is mentioned in scripture.
"They [idols] are upright as the palm tree, but speak not:
they must needs be borne, because they cannot go. Be not afraid of them;
for they cannot do evil, neither also is it in them to do good" (Jer.10:5).
Hinn is a fake.
There are always those who tear down ones who stand out, too.
I agree with you. The man is no minister of the gospel.
I guess you're making a pointed statement about me.
I'm saying we should seek to see the big picture.
Once again:
How many of those links that PresbyRev gave you did read through? This is, what, the sixth time I've asked you.
The Gospel? Where in the Bible is the Gospel defined, Missy? When has Hinn preached it?
Dan
If someone prophesies in the name of the Lord and the prophecy doesn't happen, that prophet is a false one. Period.
There are always those who tear down ones who stand out, too.
No, you're clearly accusing me of "tearing down" the "one who stands out." In this case, Benny Hinn being the subject of this thread is the one who stands out and I am the one who is tearing him down.
