Shocking, if true. So far as I know Carter has never charged a penny for his many services to America's enemies.

Hey Jimma! Go out to my pickup truck and get my two by four stretcher. I just cut this board off too short.

Carter has always been willing to lend an ear to ANY political party - pretending all are equal. He was a pathetic failure as president - and also a failure as an American patriot.

Jimmy Carter is not nor has ever been gullible....although he might like to make us all think that....Years ago, when he was president, we had breakfast with Dick Lugar. At that time he gave example of Carter's uncanny memory of names, places, and details.....Don't think for a moment he has lost any of that.....My take is the price of peanuts has gone down...Ol Jimmuh needs the monuh!

Pinko bastards Karter, Klinton, and Kerry should have their passports confiscated and should be barred from meeting with any foreign nationals or third parties with foreign policy interests. Wherever these corrupt clowns get involved with foreign policy, a trail of crises and dead bodies is sure to follow. Enough is enough.

With all the screw-ups that Jimmy Carter has carried out, during and amazingly even moreso after his Presidency, the only thing that really does make sense is that he is after pay-offs from these other world-leaders.

Why does he jump on a plane the instant there is a problem somewhere in the world when the leader in trouble is known for massive corruption or for looting his county's wealth.

Anyone have any inside info on Carter's personal financial situation.

Let's compare what happened in Ukraine with what happened in Venezuela.

From the article

"Did President Carter know he was dealing with an agent of Saddam Hussein or was he just terribly gullible?"

I think our bumbling Ex-President is off the hook on this one.

Leftists and Islam have a lot in common, the enemy of my enemy is my friend effect.

Both want freedom in America destroyed, both want to be the dictators.

Me too. Carter was a vindictive little twirp, and he was gullable as all get out, but I don't think he's corrupt.

Then again, who knows? There has to be SOME explaination for his sheer and utter incompetence.

Do you know if UN officials qualify for diplomatic immunity?

According to John Batchelor tonight
as soon as they are no longer employed by the UN
they are subject to the laws of NY state
and can be charged.

Presumably
this shortly will apply to Benon Sevon.

Paul Volcker has an article in tomorrow's WSJ

According to Batchelor, the indictments will begin.

"Paul Volcker has an article in tomorrow's WSJ"

Since WSJ pushed the story, sounds like a good move for credibility.

Can they be charged based on actions that took place while they were employed by the UN?

Apparently so.

(Indeed
although I am not an authority
on the US constitution
I would doubt there is any exemption
in it
for crimes and misdemeanours committed
in the US
by 'international employees'.

I would be curious to know
under what legal basis
UN employees are able to avoid
paying parking fines
as they apparently do.

I suppose diplomats would have diplomatic immunity
but not ordinary UN employees.

I wonder if Kofi Annan
himself
is legally entitled to diplomatic immunity?)
