John Kerry (search), in some of his most pointed public comments yet about the presidential election, invoked Martin Luther King Jr.'s legacy on Monday as he criticized President Bush and decried reports of voter disenfranchisement (search). The Massachusetts Democrat, Bush's challenger in November, spoke at Boston's annual Martin Luther King Day Breakfast. He reiterated that he decided not to challenge the election results, but "thousands of people were suppressed in the effort to vote."

Ok. I'm confused here.

At the super market line the other day I tried to read the cover story in THE GLOBE . Didn't get to read ir all before my turn came at the register but gist of it seemed to say his friends were aghast at his current looks and state of health. He was supposedly depressed and not eating well . The cover shot of him looked pretty bad

Rats! I wish you had read it. Of course you can't believe anything in those rags anyway. I wonder why he is depressed? Well, I guess anyone who has been through major surgery like that is prone to depression. After all, you do get a feeling of your own mortality at that point.
