Vanity: See How NARAL Grades Your State
prochoiceamerica.org ^ | January 14, 2004 | NARAL

Its that time of year again when NARAL isssues its report card on how well the states protect abortion rights. There is a definite trend here. The Blue States get good grades, while the Red States receive failing grades. However, I consider a failing grade from NARAL to be an honor.

Sad to report Minnesota gets a "C" -- which is two letter grades to high. The governor, Lt. Governor, State House and State Senate are all listed as "anti-choice" which I translate to pro-life, pro Constitution (...the right to LIFE liberty and the pursuit of happiness.)

Missouri STATE POLITICAL INFO Executives - Governor Matt Blunt (R) is anti-choice. - Lieutenant Governor Peter Kinder (R) is anti-choice. - Attorney General Jay Nixon (D) is mixed-choice. Legislature - The Missouri House is anti-choice. - The Missouri Senate is anti-choice.

We get an "F." Excellent!

97% of Missouri counties have no abortion provider.

As happy a thought as that is, consider the millions of dollars that must orbit around those 3% that do, what with funding MO NARAL and its ilk, as well as the actual abortionists and clinics themselves. There is a lot of money in the hands of a small group of people, both medical people and activists, and that's the bedrock that keeps the pro-abortionists fueled.
