Marge: Homer, do you have an explanation for this bill?
Homer: Oh, it's that record club. The first nine were only a penny. Then they jacked up the price!
When I was a teen Bob Crane used to take his daughter and I (her friend) out for dinner. He was always the gentleman and used to command us to stay away from drugs. I guess he knew why. I have never seen the film - I am a little curious but a little sick. He was my friend's Dad.
Sounds like the CD business is being hurt by digital downloads so CH is looking for something else.
You're right about that. Here's some ancient 'porn' (fertility goddess). LOL
I never heard of Blackstone - what (or who) is it?
Blackstone bought Columbia House a few years ago...and was indicted for some kind of corporate fraud in 1999. I remember seeing that...but I don't know the outcome.
If you find out let me know.
The movie Auto Focus doesn't really seem to have a point to make. There is the post-modern fascination that this beloved sitcom lead also had a dark/kinky side (and there is even a "porno" Hogan's Heroes dream sequence) but it doesn't want to fault him for his addictions. The film ends with his death and not much to explain it (although the movie does point a finger of "blame" it still doesn't explain WHY someone would murder another).
The movie Wonderland was even worse as it glorified the drugs and porn world of John Holmes. It covers up the fact that he entered the apartment where his friends were brutally murdered, watched the murders (he was forced to), AND delivered some of the lethal blows (his wife admits to the this in the post-film interviews in Wadd on the DVD). The man was a coke addict who betrayed a friend to steal over a million dollars and then betrayed those friends who helped him steal that money. He was a snitch to vice squad (he would rat out other porn film shoots, when it was still a crime to actually make a porn film even if screening them was legal). He did gay porn for money for drugs. When he had AIDS and couldn't get work, he went to Europe and did not disclose his illness.
Bob Crane was not as bad a person as John Holmes, but both biopics so idolize their subjects that the filmmakers are unwilling to take any moral high ground.
Like you for example? Let's see a picture of you.
I just love alien women.
Internet availability + perceived anonimity = porn explosion
What the world needs now is porn--more porn.
< /sarcasm >
Nope. CD sales were up last year.
Ironic that the exploitation explosion of women is the result of women no longer wishing to be satisfied with the standard family roles for women.
BTTT
There are men who do find it easier to watch porn videos than go out and find a woman to marry and have happy, healthy sex with.
Ping
Oh, talk about serendipity....
they call that mature? I would call it immature.
