Does this remind anyone about the time Kerry (Traitor) met with the North Vietnam representatives (Enemy) during the Viet Nam war?? I wonder if Kerry is giving the Syrians any of our secrets, at least the ones Clinton didn't already sell to the Chinese??

As a citizen of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts I take heart in two facts, when congress is in session:

1.John Kerry will be too far away from the Senate to do any damage.

2.I can drive without worrying about Ted Kennedy.

Living in Massachusetts a can tell you John Kerry is one of the scariest men in the world, but you should all be thankful that he is screwing around in Iraq instead of attempted to "work" in Washington. With his left ideals just think what he would try to accomplish if he actually felt like doing real work. Although thankfully the Congress in controlled by Republicans

Don't forget that the majority of the State Department are Clinton leftovers. I can only imagine they are the ones responsible for setting up this meeting of the minds.

Don't worry Calif, your representatives are going no where, with the Reps in control of all three sections, California has been relegated to back bencher's. Same for Mass, Ted and John, are just wall decorations at this time.

I feel pretty confident Senator Kerry and the term "work" have only a passing acquaintance.

Kerry: "I don't want you to look at me like a loser.

Bashar: "Oh, I don't. Especially when you come here looking to outsource your wife's companies. We speak the same language."

Kerry: "Ok, now that business is done shall we jet ski, waterski or skinny dip?"

Bashar: "Oh, Messr Kerry you are so funny. Really though I would only like to skinny dip when your wife is with you. You remind me so much of that Bill guy".

Kerry is cementing ties with America's enemies. This will be trotted out in his next presidential campaign, so when he says 'certain foreign leaders have spoken to me and want me to be elected', it won't be a lie you could drive a truck through. Just watch him in the coming months. He'll 'fix' those pesky little problems he thinks cost him the election and he's traveling on taxpayer dollars, too. This is foreign policy expertise. He won't mention Vietnam (his service, per se), next time except to compare it in terms of 'quagmire' to how we're doing in Iraq or wherever in the Middle East. The whole thing is cynically choreographed and disgusting. Futile, as well. There's a barnyard aphorism about dressing up a pig, but it's still a pig...only I can't think of it. But you get the idea.

When is Gov. Romney's term up? He could beat Kerry for that senate seat, and my, wouldn't that be nice.

His picture is hanging in Hanoi as a testament to the aid he gave to the communists. Now he's angling to get his horseface on display in that black box in Mecca.

Frikkin beats me.

I certainly don't get it. It is embarrassing. I went to the Oskosh Air Show a few years ago with my buddy, and at the end of the day we found ourselves on the tarmac in a group of about 15 people, talking about planes, whatever. The conversation turned to where everyone was from, and when we said we were from Massachusetts, the conversation kind of stopped, and everyone looked at us curiously. One of the guys said, in a polite kind of way, "What's going on with your senators up there in Massachusetts?" It was polite, but I felt the implication pretty strongly. Damn, it was embarrassing. All we could do was shuffle our feet and mumble. Certainly can't stick up for those idiots.

To his credit, I believe the senator is distancing himself from what has been going on in congress. This is the first respectable thing I've seen him DO since he graciously conceded.

I don't understand what you see as "respectable". I see this as a continuation of the Dems' strategy of appealing to foreign interests over and above the interests of the U.S.

I've long been convinced that much of the anti-Bush (anti-American) bleating from Europe was COORDINATED with the Dems. After 9/11 they were desperate to find a way to attack the president, but Americans were in no mood for it. So they hooked up with Kofi & the Euros and recruited them to do the Dems' dirty work...scuff Bush up enough that we can join the battle. They knew they could count on the MSM to get their panties all in a wad every time the French criticized America.

I firmly believe Biden was the big player in this---shall I call it?...yes----conspiracy. Most of the dirty work was done through 3rd parties, Dem consultants. Have you noticed how many of them are now working on FOREIGN political campaigns?! The Dems found that Americans don't respond well to their leftist, socialist, touchy-feely agenda. So they expanded their horizons and are now building coalitions among supposed allies who, in reality, want to do anything to diminish the power of our country.

SKERRY DOING HIS JOB

would be . . . wellll,

SKERRY-ER!

I'd like to see him go snowboarding off Mt McKinley.

Or perhaps surfaing in Sumatra. Oh, that's over. uhhh. . .

Hang gliding off the Himalyas?

Snorkeling amongst the Big Whites off Australia?

Perhaps crockadile hunting in the northern territories--without a guide or other help?

How about keeping Penguins warm in Antarctica?

Perhaps scouting out territory for a moon base?

Caring for Ebola victims in Africa?

Failing any of those . . .

Perhaps he'll trip over his lower lip and fart out what passes for his brains?

I'd rather he wasn't pontificating in the news. But I hate to see him on the job in the Senate, too.

I meant to add: I wonder how much anti-Bush rhetoric there was in Kerry's TWO HOUR meeting with Assad.

It is not in the Dems' interest for Syria (or Iran) to be seen as supporting U.S. interests. They're desperate to avoid another Libya (didn't see that one coming). Their worst nightmare would be Mideast Peace solution during Dubya's presidency.

I believe Kerry was there to shore up Assad's opposition to U.S. policy.
