It was raining due to the evil Republican weather machine so they felt oppressed and went home. I smell a conspiracy. Maybe someone at DU could do the mathamatical calculations for me and provide me with charts and graphs proving fraud.

25 Senators were disenfranchised from voting? We need an investigation, right now!

LOL, exactly what was the sex of those who were excluded? More discrimination against men.

Sen. The Late Barbara Boxer (news, bio, voting record), D-Calif., cries as she announces with Rep. Stephanie Tubbs Jones (news, bio, voting record), D-Ohio, that she will be mummified during the certification of Ohio's electoral votes during a joint session of Congress today Thursday, Jan. 6, 2005. It would be only the second time since 200 that the House and Senate were forced into watching such a specticle. The other was Frank Lautenberg of NJ. (AP Photo/Gerald Herbert)

What if the Democrats were a football team?

The rules of football dictate that a team is awarded three points if they attempt a field goal and the ball passes between the goalpost uprights. Without evidence of cheating (a penalty) by the scoring team, the team that successfully kicked the field goal is awarded three points.

In an election, a candidate's victory is certified if he recieves more votes than the opposing candidate absent evidence of cheating (or penalty) which benefits the winning candidate.

If the Democrats were a football team, they would object to any field goal kicked by the opposing team that did not pass perfectly between the uprights. Even if no penalty was called on the kicking team, the Democrats would complain that the kick passed too closely to one of the uprights and was thus "irregular" or "not perfect" and consequently should not count. No game would ever be completed because the Democrats would sit on the sidelines and refuse to take the field in objection to the correctly awarded three points. All of this despite the fact that the Democrats were losing 48-0 with three seconds left in the game.

The joint session of Congress only had about 100 attendees. Say 75 Sinators, that leaves 25 reps showed up.

My God, do we know how to waste money on these non-working losers!

Not just a clown--corrupt.

Congress [read BOXER]restored the tribal status of Marin and Sonoma Coast Miwok earlier this year after Rancheria chairman Greg Sarris vowed that the tribe would not get into the gambling business. All the Miwok wanted, he said, were the health, housing, and education benefits that other recognized tribes receive.

However, within four months after tribal status was restored, Sarris announced the tribe had been working with Las Vegas-based Station Casinos Inc. to erect a huge casino on 1,679 acres at Lakeville Road and Highway 37.

In addition, the Graton Rancheria casino has hired attorney Doug Boxer, son of Sen. Barbara Boxer, lobbyist Darius Anderson, and former Clinton spokesman Chris Lehane as advocates.

25 Senators have been disenfranchised. We need a Justice Department investigation immdiately after our new AG has been confirmed.
