And even that won't help if they don't use them to fight back. I still cringe every time I think of the 'train wreck' of calling Bill Clinton's hand and forcing him to veto the budget bill and then letting the lying left spin it to make it look as though it was the Republicans who had 'shut down government'. It's not enough to hide behind the nearest rock and timidly wave signs saying "It's not our fault, honest" when you are being lied about and attacked. They should have stood up and said "Darn tootin' government is shut down, and it will stay that way until the President will sign a bill that we consider acceptable. If you don't like it, take it up with your President or your members of Congress!".
Why make the effort to grow a backbone if all you plan to do with it is flee to the nearest rock to take cover!

And even that won't help if they don't use them to fight back. Same thing goes for when they brought some attention to the illegal obstruction by the dimocrats in brining judicial nominees up for a vote. Instead of making the dimocrats stand up and actually filibuster for days or weeks they let them off the hook with their threat of a filibuster.

The preachers need to stay in their pulpits and out of the open political scene where Jesus ordered "To Caesar what is Caesar's" otherwise what we will get is our own special version of JIHADIST running our country!

A THEOCRACY is more evil than COMMUNISM no matter which "religion" claims to be the "leader" Dr. Dobson is a Child Psychologist, Christian, and very interested in/concerned about our Society. He's not an ordained minister/preacher, never has been. His Christianity is not a preclusion for his ability to use the First Amendment rights...contrary to what liberals, the ACLU, and others, like you, believe or would wish.

Argh! Yes, exactly! I don't care if they want to filibuster the nominees, but for goodness sakes make them actually 'do' filibuster and not turn it into a fili-BLUSTER!

Not "democrat
ic", "democrat".
Republican is not "Republicanic"
"democratic" as a descriptor of democrats is subtle lib-spin. Don't use it.

Sometime before the election, I was called to give to the Republican Senate campaigns. I said no because these guys don't have backbones.
I told the gal on the phone that all of the Senators could be put into a blender; ground up; poured out again, and you wouldn't find one gonad to make one man.

For 14 years Dr. Dobson was an Associate Clinical Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Southern California School of Medicine, and served for 17 years on the Attending Staff of Children's Hospital of Los Angeles in the Division of Child Development and Medical Genetics. He has an earned Ph.D. from the University of Southern California (1967) in the field of child development. He is a clinical member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy, a licensed psychologist in California, and is listed in Who's Who in Medicine and Healthcare.
If you want to have more proof that Dr. Dobson isn't and was never a preacher, just google.

Sir ... you are the complete Idiot.
1) "Render Unto Ceasar" simply means that The Almighty wants His Church to pay their proper taxes to the government ... as opposed to the tax-exempt Religous Whore-Churches that infest America today.
2) "Theocracy more Evil than Communism" ?
Check your math, dear friend ... last time I checked, Ted Kennedy, Joe Stalin, and Mao had the "murderous" scoring advantage over Catholic/Protestant Americans.
It's one thing to be a Fool, Steplock ... Just know that it isn't tolerated well in these parts ... Perhaps CNN's "Larry King Live" is best suited for your intellectual ilk ...

I do apologize to Dr. Dobson.
The gist of my posting is still relevant as to allowing this country to turn into a theocracy!

It greatly concerns me how Christians are being attacked any time they attempt to influence those in our society.
IMHO, it is becaue of their lack of leadership over the past many, many years as to not only why our Country is going down the tubes, but why they such strongs efforts are in place to silence them.
You claim a theocracy is dangerous. Simply by removing God from society does not make is so much a "godless" society as it does a SELFISH society. When man removes God/Higher Power as the diety, something/someone must fill His place. And guess what that someone is? SELF.
If you disbelieve that that is the natural order of things, then look to any country which removed the Deity and replaced it with "something" else: Russia, China, and Cuba come to mind. The resultant tyranny, suffering, persecution, and death is beyond comprehension.

Not to worry, there, laddie - the communists don't want a theocracy, either, and will do whatever's necessary to stop it.

Try that face to face and you will crawl away IF you are lucky.
Look at every theocratic state in this world, and you will see a dictatorship and control over the people that mao and lenin and clinton would be orgasmic over!
apparently you also

A THEOCRACY is more evil than COMMUNISM no matter which "religion" claims to be the "leader" Considering the HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS of murders attributed to the various Communist dictatorships of the 20th Century, on what do you base your assertion?
The entire death toll from the entirety of the Inquisition did not come close to what Comrade Stalin accomplished in a good week

Look at every theocratic state in this world, and you will see a dictatorship and control over the people that mao and lenin and clinton would be orgasmic over! You fail to qualify that with "Muslim theocratic".
And I still maintain that the residents of Stalin's Gulags, and Mao's "reeducation camps" would not find modern-day Iran or Saudi Arabia that bad

The gist of my posting is still relevant as to allowing this country to turn into a theocracy! I won't insult your intelligence, but I will question your knowledge (and perhaps sanity) when you apparently see no difference between Christianity and Islam. Christians have no intentions of setting up a theocratic US or they would have done so when they set the US up in the first place. And to suggest that Christians are of the same nature as Jihadist muslims proves you're not a Christian or you'd know the Spirit of God.

You seem to believe that Dr. Dobson wants a theorcracy. (By theocracy, I assume that you mean a state with an established church.) Nothing could be further from the truth. This suggests that your picture of the "religious right" comes from the liberal anti-Christian media. Fundamentalist and evangelical Christians are unanimously and rabidly opposed to a state church. Throughout history, Christians not conforming to a state church (i.e., fundamentalists and evangelicals) have been persecuted by the state when there was an established church. This was a major force in the colonization of America. Today's religous right remembers.
The preachers need to stay in their pulpits and out of the open political scene ...
Why would you deny the right of freedom of speech to those with the best moral compasses?

The gist of my posting is still relevant as to allowing this country to turn into a theocracy! You are watching way to much msm and believing it. This country and the Constitution was founded upon and written with Christian values in mind. The fear our founding fathers had wasn't that religion would ruin the country but that the country would ruin religion. You should read up on the history of our country, especially the making of the Constitution and the men who labored over it.
