Yes, but in the case of North Korea the last thing you want to give them is the opportunity to shoot them down. UAVs are all vulnerable to air defences. This isn't the Cuban Missile crisis and neither the operations of UAVs over Vietnam scenario. The North Koreans would be expending SAMs and triple AAA by the bucket load. It just isn't happening.

Hey! Is that what you were doing?

2100? OK, not a bad year. I think we could do a little better tho' and burn up their assets.

The US needs very high resolution of places like Yongbyon & missile launch
facilities-something that can't always been done using satellites.

Do you know the actual resolution of either platform?

That's is 5.7 flights a day. I am sure the USAF has better things to do than spy on the North that much.

Given the number and frequency, I'd say a bunch.

Intelligence preparation of the battlefield is a very important task for all branches.
It a primary reason why our military kicks butt.

Not exactly, since im a layman(who seeks most of his info on the net) & i have no qualms in admitting that!!But I do happen to know that drones are the best for real time intelligence updates as has been proven by their use by the US & Israeli militaries.
