I'm sorry, perhaps I'm just a bit slow this morning...but how is me saying this woman was dropped ironic when I just said my puppy would enjoy skydiving?
As I kid, I owned two guinea pigs - pets I loved a great deal and miss a LOT (both are now dead). The poor thing must have been scared out of its wits.
I'd like the jokers who did this to get closely acquainted with my inner John Clark for what they did to that poor thing.
its a lower life form - smaller brain case and you have no means of identifying emotions within the creature - That assigning of emotions to non human creatures is anthropomorphism
Im merely saying - big deal - people whck em on the head and fry them elsewhere in the world
I suspect they are tasty myself
Finally someone sane here. Would any of those students use that makeshift parachute? Doubt it.
According to the local morning am radio wingnuts, one person was slapped with a felony cruelty to an animal charge early this morning, no further information was available.
But "scared" is not an emotion so much as a physiological reaction. Animals without doubt experience fright. Even rodents. ; )
It would be an anthropomorphism if someone said she was "worried".
No biggie - it wasn't cute or at all funny to me, but I agree that it goes low on the animal cruelty scale.
were in agreement - now please pass the salt
of course you fool - you need at least 5 for any serious air resistance
;-P
only kidding folks
We would zig zag our way through the boredom and pain
Occasionally glancing up through the rain.
Wondering which of the buggars to blame
And watching for guinea pigs on the wing.
"you need at least 5 for any serious air resistance"
Not if you get the good bags...Only need 2 if you get Hefty!
In my late teen some 25+ yrs ago - I worked for the parks dept - One saturday I was pulling day guard duty - opening gates, bathrooms etc - and this fellow approached me and asked if he could launch a hang glider from a park hill -
fearing I would be sued if he got injured, I said no -
It turns out as he pleaded his case that the glider was home made from wood and sheets
He left disappointed -
healthy
but disappointed
"It turns out as he pleaded his case that the glider was home made from wood and sheets"
lol...perhaps you would have done the world a favor by letting him test it??
(JUST KIDDING!! I do not wish harm on anybody...even stupid people)
??
It was a parachute drop. Older kids had sent various types of animals into space on real rockets just to see if they would survive. We called these kids NASA Rocket Scientist.
Isn't this precisely the sort of thing for which guinea pigs exist?
Do you think he could have gotten a Darwin Award for that homemade hang glider?
" Do you think he could have gotten a Darwin Award for that homemade hang glider?"
oh ABSOLUTELY! And he may still...
Actually I was just hoping they did.
