Apple has always had a proprietary system whereby a fool has to pay triple for what the hardware is actually worth. They should give the OS's away free but they still hook the fools into paying for those toooo!

To be fair, almost all major computer manufacturers charge double what their products are really worth. Apple just has the balls the charge triple, like you said.

Computer manufacturers also rake you over the coals if you want any type of decent warranty. It's a shame.

Not only that, obviously many Republicans work for Dem-supporting businesses. That means boycotting those businesses hurts many Republicans. All businesses that do well help the American economy which helps everyone... Dems and Republicans alike. Boycotting a business because they support a political opponent is similar to firing one of your own employees because he or she has different political views from yours. If that employee is a good worker, he or she helps you and America ceate wealth. Quit with the boycotts already.

Driftless has it right. If you're gonna boycott a company, do it on the basis of its performance, integrity, and honesty to its consumers and shareholders. Don't boycott solely on politics.

Of course, if they are a scummy company AND they support the other team's candidate, by all means have a field day!

Yes in major cities you will find several Starbucks on the same city block. It is intentional... people on coffee break don't have lots of time to be running all over town for Starbucks coffee, soooooo they put one convenient to a well populated office building and workers do not need to cross the street or run to the next block.

I think it's rather smart marketing. Myself, I do enjoy Starbucks, overpriced as it is.

Let try buying American first. That kind of stuff is for John Kerry's two America's and we defeated that idea so lets move on.

Buy a case, a motherboard, a hard drive, a CD R/W an AMD CPU and memory and roll your own, you get a better system and you don't need a warranty since by the time you put it together, your smart enough to fix it yourself..

curious about Arbys being 100% Dem. The guy that runs the company is from OK and was on a few months ago with a local right-wing radio host and they were very friendly to each other.

I haven't bought a Heinz product, on purpose, for quite a while wither. The only boycott I have going at the moment.
So you believe that every single employee that works for Hienz should be punished for how you feel about one of the members of the Board of Directors?
Not every employee agrees with the political views of their boss, why should they be held responsible?

I'm sure that by not buying one bottle of ketchup that I'll put an employee out of work.

I don't know. I haven't bought a Heinz product in a while and I had no intention to after Kerry's campaign.

As an aside, I don't like that brand of ketchup, so it didn't hurt me to not buy it. However, when my children were babies, I did prefer Heinz babyfood. Do I get a brownie point for that?

=0)

Barnes & Noble is 98% Democrat. No wonder I had such a rough times getting "The Terrible Truth About Liberals" stocked at Barnes and Noble.

Why does this not shock me?

I just never will understand boycotting a movie or business otr product because one person invloved has differingpolitical views. They seem to forget that there are many people affected, and not every single one of them agrees with their "boss".
Boycotting movies is especially stupid. Just because the star's ideals are wrong, what about the grips, electricains and stage hands. Your boycotting is actually hurting them more than the star.
