This is idiotic. Please focus your retarded energy on attacking Democrats.

Dreier is exactly like the the Democrats on this issue.

The Democrats are irrelevant on this issue because they don't hold power in the Congress.

Our energy, retarded or not, will be focused on taking out someone who can make a difference on this issue but CHOOSES to f**ck us all.

There ya go! Throw the baby out with the bathwater why don't you?

The same could be said of you, every time a Republican is campaigned against, even in a primary, there are so many cliche filled arm chair strategist spouting sayings just like that.

Why don't you concentrate on removing Barbara Boxer, Nancy Pelosi, or Maxine Waters instead of committing politcal suicide?

Uh, kind of like how we can't fight in Afganistan and Iraq? We are, so stop your whining.

In case you aren't keeping score, Boxer's approval rating is hovering around 50%, yet she won in a landslide because of the weak "candidate" the CA GOP put up. Besides, this girl from OC is doing her duty as a citizen, opposing all enemies foreign and domestic.

Just keep insulting them until they get back to circle jerking about the irrelevant minority party so we can all feel good about ourselves, please?

You must mean June 2006, but CA people really "believe" in the Dreier candidacy.

Yes, whenever the primary is scheduled. But the groundwork for the primary probably starts in 2005, especially if the candidate will be fighting his own party to get out a lifer RINO like Dreier.

The people are creatures of habit and the level of political awareness is low. Dreier was saved mainly by the absentee ballots. Had the campaign against him started earlier he might have lost.

what do you suggest.... when we can't count on our own .We have the majority and it doesn't mean jack. He's talking out of both ends. He's not in my district... Chris Cox is and he voted same as Drier. It's going to take a few whacks over the head for them to know we are serious about this issue. It's an uphill battle in So. Orange County to keep it Red... They have to keep him on his toes. We are not democrats that blindly follow the leader. We are Republicans and do have some control to make a change.

Amen! It is going to take a moderate Republican to win in California in today's society if a Republican is ever going to win. Once you get some moderates in, you can build the party and work on getting more conservatives in after that. Instead of attacking Dreier so hard, I'd be pushing him to run for US Senate in two years. He might have what it takes to beat Feinstein.

Hey, we already have that. Dreier is a "moderate" Republican, now we are focusing on getting a conservative in his place.

Karl Rove and the State Republican party will see to it that no real conservative challenges Dreier for his seat.

You gotta get off the kool-aid. What does Rove have to do with it?

I see that because of the tremendous success the GOP had in CA with prop 187, you must have in mind finishing the job(sarcasm). Are you a Democrat?

I meant at a higher level. The process is working well so far with Schwarzeneggar as Governor. Move Dreier on up to the US Senate (you have to admit that he would be better than Feinstein!) and then elect a conservative to replace Dreier. Dreier is in a safe Republican seat, correct?

From everything I have heard, the structure of the California Republican Party has been in shambles for the past few years. Personally, I think this is the best way to rebuild it.

I think you may be right but I wonder if Dreier were:
(pick as many as you like):
for tax increases
for gun control
pro-abortion
anti military

Which one, or combination of these, issues would cause the party loyalists to seek to replace him? And why is being an open borders sellout ok?
This is more a rhetorical question than one directed at you.

What's prop 187? I remember a vote by the people that overwhelmingly passed on something logical, but the Republicans let that get fillibustered in the courts. Their only failure with the California people is how they continue to show what feckless, callow cowards they are.

Are you a Democrat?

Are you always this desperate? The guy made good points. Next you'll be asking when he stopped beating his wife.

I understand what you are saying. But, do you honestly believe he would not be more in tune with your values and philosophies than Feinstein? And, can you think of another California Republican that would have a stronger chance of beating Feinstein than Dreier?

He's good for the San Gabriel Valley in many ways, he is a Republican -- both of those things count for a LOT in my book.

Actually that's only one thing. I can ad more though to help you out; "Republican (1) David Dreier hold a congression seat for the Republicans (2) for 24 Republican (3) years of being in the Republican (4) party."

There, that's 4 reasons for you, I bet those count for even MORE for you, and that is a LOT.

Meet exhibit A of the proverbial Kool Aid Drinker. My goodness.

Sorry, you are on your own in this. I won't support replacing of any Republicans in California, no matter what. They are still far better than the alternative.

So, if the guard at the gate has an (R) after his name, you'll feel better on the way to the gas chambers?

Be rational for once, and NOT just a "brand loyalist"....if Ted Kennedy suddenly got an (R) after his name...would his votes AGAINST what you truly believe be OK somehow?

Or is THAT the problem that the Blinders, MK I crowd of Pavlovian (R)'s have...there IS no overriding principle....it's all about having that (R)...whether or NOT they back the issues?

Having one more (D) that votes like the current (R) makes no difference...it still sells out America!

Dump ALL the RINO's...if we lose control...TEMPORARILY...we do. But, by pressing the ACTUAL issues that concern Americans...stemming ILLEGAL INFILTRATORS...securing the borders...Conservative ideals wil win back what we DO NOT HAVE as long as RINO's can SCREW us!

The last primary was the example I had in mind. Sonny Sardo, a businessman from Dereir's district challenged him in the primary.

Sardo was more conservative the Dreier on most any issue you could name. What was the response from the State party.....(sounds of crickets).

Ok, so Rove probably didn't care about it because he new Dreier was a shoe-in.

Prop 187 was a success, it passed with a great majority even among latinos. The Democrat governor let it die in court.

The, "Are you a Democrat?" line is typical when you have nothing else to go on.

I don't know. It would be great to get Feinstein out.
I just have a hard time believing that in the nations most populous state there are no better candidates than Dreier for senate. But what do I know?
