South Haven - A West Michigan middle school teacher is in jail, charged with molesting a student.
Police say Elizabeth Miklosovic, from Grand Rapids, was a teacher at South Haven Middle School.
She is charged with first degree criminal sexual conduct of a female student.Police say a mentor-type relationship with a 14 year old eighth grader turned into a sexual one.
Investigators say one incident happened near the school and several others happened at Miklosovic's home in Grand Rapids.
Miklosovic reportedly turned herself in today. She taught seventh grade at the middle school.
WZZM 13 News has learned an arrest warrant has been issued for Miklosovic in Kent County, adding to the charge in Van Buren County.

Rest of article highlights that the 14-year-old girl went to the teacher to talk about emotional problems... Amazing. Not only do we have to worry about violence in schools, but also sexual predators stalking innocent and vulnerable children.

Oh my, what a creature. At least the gals that go for the 14 year old boys are good looking (otherwise their chances of success are slim).

Will the Canadian man have anything on these PUBLIC institution molestations on his news cast? We just might have on a 3 yr old case against a priest.

It was a relationship police say both felt was consensual until a fellow student turned the teacher in and the 14 year old recognized there was a problem. Detective Sgt. Oppenheim says the girl is now realizing she is a victim, "She is starting to realize she is a victim and the relationship was wrong."What I don't understand is how kids, at 14 years old, don't understand what is going on is wrong. I knew at a pretty early age that this kind of stuff was wrong. I wouldn't even have allowed it to get as far as this girl did. Especially at 14 years old. Does anybody else feel that or is it just me?

Wanna bet that this wasn't the first time this teacher has committed acts like this?
Would not surprise me to hear of other students being used by this p.o.s.

I don't know where you got that picture. The slut is actually quite attractive. There's pictures of her during her modeling days floating around somewhere. Foxy fruitcake.

"one incident happened near the school and several others happened at Miklosovic's home"So, one plus several maybe equals four?
Why four incidents before the girl reported it? Why not report it after the first? Hell, why not report the initial sexual advance before it led to something?
I'm sure someone can tell me the real reason. And it's not because she's stupid or unsure of herself.

That's the female teacher in Florida that did the little boy. Read the article; this is a different story.

What I don't understand is how kids, at 14 years old, don't understand what is going on is wrong.
From the article: "It started off as the student reaching out for help because she was having some emotional problems at the time." But from there police say she took advantage of the girl and their relationship became criminal.
She's some piece of work, huh?

Sorry - at closer glance it appears that we may be talking about two different sickies. The 24 year old teacher I pictured has admitted to rolling in the hay with a 14 year old male student and plans to plead insanity.

I think you have the wrong pervert. What you have there is Debra Beasley Lafave who had her way with a boy. BTW, if she was my teacher I'd volunteer to stay after class.

I read the story and corrected my mistake. They're very similar. Sick.

No kidding (vomiting). As you said earlier, I was a 14 year old boy once and I wouldn't have had to be coaxed very much by the insane one. I guess that's tasteless - but true. :o)

I find it funny that all the feminists are silent, yes deathly silent on this. If a man had done this they would be screaming! Why is there a double standard for the FemeNazis when it comes to women being sexual predators or ultra liberals like Bill Clinton!

"What I don't understand is how kids, at 14 years old, don't understand what is going on is wrong."
14 year olds are not kids. They know what is what, but teenagers are still not adults either. They tend to have poor judgment. Thats why there are statutory rape laws.
Some people are mature enough to make sexual decisions by age 18, some before, some never are. Witness all the fatherless children, and all the abortions.
This 14 year old made a mistake, but I wouldn't call her a victim. She wasn't molested against her will.
The teacher should have known better and will no doubt pay for her indiscretion. The article says she faces life in prison.

She wasn't molested against her will. I agree with what you are saying, but the use of the word 'molested' certainly implies it was against her will. They should use another term so as to be precise.
"engaged in unlawful consensual sexual acts" for example.

I agree! Similar thing happened to me in 1968. I know I handled it correctly.

With Deborah it's "sex with a minor". With this one it can't be anything but forcible aggravated sodomy.

Isn't that a little old, considering that other chick got caught with an 8-year-old boy?
How out of style! 14 is way too old. The in thing is younger than 9, according to that lady who had sex with the 8-year-old.

This is the only reference I could find on this news story. I searched every newspaper in the country, and websites for CBS, NBC, ABC, and PBS.
Note how in the opening sentence the writer conveniently leaves out the fact that the teacher is a lesbian.
SOUTH HAVEN, Michigan - A teacher and a 14-year-old former female student whom she is accused of sexually assaulting participated in witchcraft together and even "wed" in a pagan ritual, police said. Elizabeth Miklosovic, 36, a teacher at South Haven's Baseline Middle School, was arraigned Thursday on a charge of first-degree criminal sexual conduct. If convicted, Miklosovic faces a maximum sentence of life in prison. She remained jailed Friday on $100,000 bond. Miklosovic, a seventh-grade language arts teacher, lives with another woman and their adopted son, authorities said. She was placed on leave from her job. The student told 'police that she and Miklosovic had about five sexual encounters from June to October in the teacher's home and two parks. Miklosovic has no previous criminal record in Michigan, state police records show. Detective Sgt. Diane Oppenheim of the state police post in South Haven said the student - who was described as having emotional problems - came to trust the teacher so much, she agreed to "marry" the woman in a pagan ritual. "They also participated in witchcraft together," Oppenheim said. Both Miklosovic and her lawyer declined to comment.
Isnt it interesting how selective the liberal media can be when it doesnt want us to know about something?
