It is why I stopped being a basketball fan over ten years ago -- the game is no longer respectable.
When the federal government became obsessed about "Midnight Basketball" under the Clinton Administration, it insured that the game was on its way to being ghetto-ized. NBA and NFL games have become "Thug-Ball".
The NBA doesn't play what I call basketball. Ten steps a dribble and no passing or plays. Just showboat moves and they act like every basket is a home-run with a dance.
I like high school and college basketball. I'd say high school is the best. The kids play hard and do it while having fun. Go to your local school games and the heck with the NBA.
In 54 years, I have only watched one BB game...
Reason: It's about as interesting as watching paint dry.
