Tornado activity and severe thunderstorms in SE Indiana. Connersville, Laurel, and Andersonville have reported funnel clouds.
I was driving home from Terre Haute to Fishers, and it was scary. Strong winds buffeted my car all over the place. I saw quite a bit of lightning, and the rain was so hard I couldn't see the road at times. Hmm. Must be global warming. </sarcasm>
First snow/freezing rain of the year here in southern Mi.
You are getting the same system that went through here(Illinois) earlier.....take comfort, now it's snowing here...
That was uncalled for.
I suppose you're right. But take comfort - this is serial hurricane country.
HMMMMM - I live in Aurora - maybe I'd better turn the radio on........
Although I posted with Channel 9's website, Channel 12 (www.wkrc.com) and Channel 5 (www.channelcincinnati.com) are covering this as well.
Seems like Franklin and Fayette counties are the hardest-hit as of now.
That's real bad considering tornadoes can be wrapped in rain.
Might want to wait until hurricane season again before you start trying to be cute. :-)
Oh, I see you already thought about it.
We had tornados and severe thunderstorms yesterday.
Snooty-pants! It's nasty here in Penna, and going to get worse. (Can you spare a lb of fresh pineapple?)
Eeeek!
I'm directly east of Cincinnati. They are heading my way.
It was mean.....though I WANT EVERYONE TO TAKE NOTE: FL is a great place to visit, but you don't want to live here. Pictures like above are all taken in the same place. 98% of the state is scrub pine, flat, and ugly. Don't ruin the "dream" you have of this state by moving here.
All we got here in Detroit is freezing rain so far.
Take one look at the examples on this thread, people...and don't ever ask why California real estate prices are so high again ;)
In West Michigan we have a Winter Storm Warning. The driving is really miserable. I prefer winter training camp (a few light snow showers) rather than a big storm to start the season:)
Any funnels reported in Friendship?
My son and his honey got stuck on the way here. The snow and roads are so bad in central Ill. that they gave up.
Mr Grammy is in central Indiana, trying to get home. They may all just get leftovers
;-P~~
