Add this to a society that is obsessed with illegal drugs to "feel good." and heaven help us... oh, yes, now they know accutane can cause all sorts of problems, too.
The doctor I work for often has patients come in wanting Vicodin or worse and many get very upset when he refers them instead to a pain center for evaluation or gives them something not in the "Class-3" drug category... Doctors have to be more careful than ever to watch for "drug seeking behavior."
Right you are. In most if not all of these cases, the only "real crime" was procrastination.
But, in this case, if she can get off on account of post-partum depression, it'll be almost like she was part of that pre-partum depression crowd.
Her lawyer will call it, "post partum psychosis"
I'd like to see how this plays out for insanity. Imagine the public outrage.
people like this woman need to held accounatable to protect innocent children. It seems that in situations like these, the parent always escapes the death penalty. They seem to get credit for being related to the victim. Where is the compassion for the children? The liberals always want to talk about the children, except for the times when it really counts.

I don't see how this incident has anything to do w/ PESH and the drug scene back in highschool. And not everyone in Plano is rich and spoiled. I went to school w/ some of the kids that OD'd on heroin and it is a tragedy. I was even friends with a few of them and these guys lived in lower income neighborhoods. BTW Plano is not the only place where drugs are abused. Have you been to LA, Miami, NY, and every other major city in the US??? And who doesn't experience a little w/ drugs in High School?
Anyways, what a sad story this is. I've said my prayers for that poor baby and it breaks my heart to hear stories like this.
Your right if she ever does snap out of it. I hope that she does because I hope at that point no one has mercy on her because she deserves to live with this pain for the rest of her life. Everyday in prison will be a slow day and the death penalty would just be the easy way out. Shes a sick and twisted B****
It doesn't. Going back to my original comment, I said that if it was drug related, and in Plano, it had to be heroin. That's all.
Wow. Hard to get your head around the sickness and depravity of this act. Just when you think the most brutal thing imaginable has happened, along comes the next diseased mind of an increasingly more liberal less responsible society.
Imagine what these little urban freaks raised on Eminem are going to bring forth as their contribution to society.
