With all of the area blocked off, you have to wonder about explosives.
I heard that number as well, but the latest news story didn't have a number.
FNC is covering it again: near downtown, 6th street is closed from Lake to Rampart - 10 square blocks covered...
As many as 10 people being held there.... SWAT is being deployed, they are on scene.
If the LAPD finds out illegal Mexicans are involved they'll probably release them.
What are the demands?

I agree! While the case is tragic, there are MANY tragedies every single day.
I'm so sick of hearing about these dysfunctional males--but Greta loves them! Kobe Bryant, Scott Peterson, Michael Jackson . . . IMHO they should all be locked in a tiny cell with Martha Stewart as the cell manager. She can leave when her five months are up, they can stay forever, with NO MORE PUBLICITY.

Yeah, why clear out ten square blocks for a few guys with guns? Maybe they wired the building? Who knows. No further reports from Fox. They just finished talking about a pervert with an 8-year old. Sad what passes for news these days.
I have yet to figure out the mainstreams' fascination with the Peterson murder. Check out these statistics I ran across:
"On average, more than three women are murdered by their husbands or boyfriends in this country every day. In 2000, 1,247 women were killed by an intimate partner. The same year, 440 men were killed by an intimate partner.
Pregnant and recently pregnant women are more likely to be victims of homicide than to die of any other cause , and evidence exists that a significant proportion of all female homicide victims are killed by their intimate partners."
Is he going to go to trial? Or is he still "insane"? I was hoping maybe he'd just disappeared off the face of the earth. Add him to the prison cell mix . . .
I just think there are more significant court cases she could cover.
