I think this is a second post for this article, but it needed to be posted again. It's devastating.

I thought Bush and Rove were making a big mistake when the intervened in behalf of this jerk, and it's more and more evident that indeed they did.

It's very possible that if they had NOT intervened, we would have had a strong Republican in the senate instead of this poor excuse for a Scottish lawyer. Not only that, but Bush might have won the state if he hadn't had Specter deliberately undermining him with his "Vote Kerry/Specter" flyers and his refusal to help get out the vote for Bush.

Big time mistake.

Well, with the help of the 100 corrupt and cowardly cullions, clinton walked. The senators' justification for their acquittal votes requires the suspension of rational thought (and, in the curious case of Arlen Specter, national jurisdiction).

The anathematization of Arlen must transcend any specific issue. This jerk's rank opportunism rivals ---- and may even in fact exceed ---- Kerry's.
