needed European help to meet global challenges from fighting terrorism, AIDS (news - web sites) and poverty to stabilizing the Middle East.

The EU will stabilize the ME by allowing the murder of all of those Jews that they did not get to murder in WWII.

BTW, Excuse me?

I will not give one penny from my children's education account to help fight AIDS.

I might contribute to decrease AIDS funding.

I care a great deal for my children.

I don't give a damn for a disease that is caused by homosexual anal sex, practiced without even a condom. Period.

EU to Bush: You Need us to Solve World Problems

Kind of you to offer but we have enough home grown snarky condescending backstabber's right now. But leave your card in case we run out.

Kerry really missed his calling. I guess he's had so much opportunity in his life that he lost the ability to discenr new ones when they came along.

He had the chance as a sailor to do the right thing and serve honorably, thus keeping his name and record clean. Instead he rejected it and cursed his fellow Americans and the land of his forefathers, aiding the enemy then and now.

He could have run for office as an honorable man and would not have had to keep his real record secret. He and his party would have been better for it.

Instead, somewhat like Gore, he has been rejected and marginalized, and instead of laurels to rest upon, the only good thing he's done for the country was to concede. It's a start, but it's an awful late one.

Bush to E.U.-

After your attempts to solve the worlds problems, you need us to clean up the mess.

Bush doesn't need them, and we don't need them. The one I feel sorry for is Tony Blair. He's in a difficult position.

Call you French?

I don't mind kidding people, I don't even mind insulting people...but calling someone French! Even I have some limits. I'm a compassionate conservative.

It's hard. You want to have strong alliances but you can't give into these sycophants. I say that we stand beside Tony Blair, Silvio Berlusconi, John Howard, and Alexander Kwasienewski and remain open-minded to any EU nations that hint at wanting to distance themselves from Chirac and Schroeder.

I've been practicing that for several decades, and will continue to do so. AS for the EU, WHO NEEDS THE GRIEF?

Old Europe has the same mantra as American liberals, and islamofascists: Blame America for all of their problems.

More pathetic, self-important bloviation from the effete dilettantes who believe they have been graced with the wisdom of the ages.

The truth of the matter is that we have been Europe's daddy since 1945. Old Europe is akin to a bunch of college freshmen who think they have all the answers and can't understand why their old man sees things differently. Of course, they continue to have no problem letting daddy pay their room, board and tuition, whether in dollars or blood.

Twenty years from now, they will have a tremendous appreciation for how smart the old man really was..

Was that offer of help from the Dutch Prime Minister whose own citizen just got butchered by an islahomofanatic on the street, for expressing his opinion. With help like that,I know every cave dweller virginseeker must be quaking in his boots."May tthe thunder of B52 send them all jumping over the cliff like lemmings pursued by pigs"(very loose translation of famous muslim saying)

I agree with your sentiment. With the exception of the UK, however, Europe has been all too willing to let the US do the heavy lifting - and the US has been all too willing to do it.
