But Sen. Norm Coleman (R-Minn.) said the Democratic losses reflected a “deep disconnect” with millions of Americans

Yes, I guess you could say that.

The Democraps can "say" all they want about reaching out to the voters in the Red states. That is all well and good, but HOW are they going to do it? The Dems have gone so far to the left that the only way to truly reach the voters in flyover country, i.e. the Rocky Mt. States (notice the Dems are targeting the SW and Rocky Mt. states effectively giving up on the South)is to abandon the lefty positions, i.e. shift to the right. Not a snowball's chance in hell the Democrat Party can do this without causing a serious rift in the party.

Harry Reid?

Harry Reid, DEM-Las Vegas?

Values of the west?

We did make a big mistake not taking Reid out too.

Bump. May I add, That the mainstream media is capable of a partisan bias and manipulation of news for their agenda far beyond what we were ever raised to believe possible.

This was my big revelation. Spinning I am used to. But when the media actively started to release false stories, collude with the DNC, time old stories to specifically damage Bush, while working hard to cover Kerry's many skeletons and blemishes, I realized for the first time that the majority of the media is the enemy of America and our way of life.

You thought so too? When I heard Edwards, I thought, he doesn't get it. He's as nutty as Al Gore.

Kerry, on the other hand, delivered a statesmanlike speech - probably the best I heard him give. Then I realized it sounded good because it was the first time I heard him speak he wasn't lying or calling names.

Some, including House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (Calif.) and Rep. Bob Matsui (Calif.), chairman of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, had even predicted that their party would retake the House...
Hmmmm with all her "friends"(Do liberals have friends?)finding their way to the EXIT door maybe Nancy better watch out or maybe a House(Oz pun intended) is gonna fall on her:)

Exactly. I thought it was a mediocre speech. But it was still one of his best. That's just not saying very much.

Personally,I think he lied during his concession speech.

IMHO,The DEMS and Old Media will be back to their seditious selves in a few short weeks. :-(

"They have the rules of the Senate on their side." (dmocrats)

Those rules can be changed, I believe. That would put an end to this 60 vote filibuster threshhold business.

I remember Pelosi saying on a Sunday show that she was putting her credibility or reputation on a Kerry win.

The media power barons went too far and have been exposed for the propagandists they are. They smugly expected to bag the presidency for the Democrats and got their hats handed to them. Network news is down the tubes.

Those exit poll numbers showed me that Big Media can lie to themselves and their supporters - and then believe it themselves! 'Just make it up and see if it sticks' is no way to run any business...
