I told my wife a couple of days ago that I thought the NRA the gun owners and the hunters would pull it out for President Bush.

All of these are security conscious.

Unfortunately, the votes from Pittsburgh and Philadelphia also have to be counted, too.

Oh, don't worry...the unions make sure they're counted twice. They're such nice fellows in Philly and P'bgh, they will make sure they're counted even if you don't show up to cast them!

OMG - do you have any balloon pics? I've always wanted to go on a ride, but the season is over for my part of the country (Western NY). In fact, this season has been very bad - used to see all the time, but this summer, not very many (they fly over my house to land).

one man who listened to my entire spiel, then said, "Hmmmmm."

probably because his pro-kerry wife was covering his mouth so he couldn't cross over to bush...

Today GW came in to a rally 20 miles south of Pittsburgh. It was at 9:30am-on a work day! Everyone had to be there between 6:30 to 8:45 AM ! They said the crowd was 11,000-12,000!

in PA we need a few crossovers,

The biggest problem is right here in Philly where first time voters are demanding (and possibly received) the right NOT to show any ID when casting their vote(s).

Of course the Dem controlled city is bending over backwards to let these Kerry suck-ups vote willy nilly without even proving who they are.

With little GOP oversight in the inner city, one can only imagine these first time voters going from poll to poll, precinct to precinct, casting multiple votes since it is illegal to videotape them entering the voting booth.

The reason the Dems can win in Pennsylvania at all is simply due to Philly where the GOP is "outvoted" by around 250,000 each and every presidential election.

It's like starting a campaign a quarter million votes in the hole, and then having to hustle and spend $$ just to break even.

By the way, the Democratic Mayor, race-baiting John Street, recently called Republicans "trickstaa's" because of the GOP's call for close scrutiny at polls in the city.

I am already sick in my stomach from this Democratic Party version of democracy and election day has not even arrived yet.

This is my experience here in WA as well. The republican base will walk through fire to get to the polls to vote for President Bush.

I Lived in York PA for 28 years (now in VA). Worked for the NRSC there raising funds for Rep. Senatorial campaigns. Yes, solid Republican concentration. My sister lives in Pgh, though and is really demoralized by the sleezy Dem. tactics. Give me York any day over Pgh. or Philly. For many reasons - not just political. No surprise that pc to SouthCentral PA gave positive Bush results. But, glad to hear things haven't changed.

PDemocrat bosses in Phila are revving up their ground game...Mayor Street says they will have 15,000 operatives on the street, their pockets filed with cash,,,,he hopes to produce a 350,000 vote margin for Kerry...if he does, that may win it.

This rally, in my parents words, was unbelievable. 12,000 strong with hardly a handful of Kerry protesters. Also, since the location, Post-Gazette Pavilion, was about a 25 minute drive from West Virginia and Ohio, it saw residents from those states as well!!!

I really think Pa. will be close. I live in CA., but used to live in Pittsburgh. All of family and friends are still there and I have done everything I could to get the W vote. I've got both of my parents (republicans), sister (independent), grandmother, aunt, uncle (life-long democrats), and four good friends (first time voters) for Bush.

GO PA.!!!!

I have this image of thousands of Amish people buggying their way to the polls. The Dem poll watcher seeing this sight goes into meltdown.

Do they require a license to drive a buggy? I suspect that they do. If they don't, I would expect the rats to challenge them to present proper ID. That'd be their style, wouldn't it?

Then again, the Amish probably can't abide rats, either.

Re: PGH RALLY - My sister lives about 30 min from where the Pres. spoke. She tried for an hour to find out the location, all she saw advertised was the town's name, but not where. When she finally found out, it was too late. She said she did not see the location advertised anywhere. Did she miss it? It is a shame, that must have happened to a lot of people. She was very upset because she wanted to go. Her report to me was that 16,000 attended per the reports after.
