In most of these battle ground states, we have to wonder from what political party most of the key people and workers for the election process come from.

I read that thread. If you punch the green arrow next to the Bush/Cheney name....you voted for Kerry/Edwards.

GODDAMMIT ?!!! WHERE ARE THE REPUBLICANS IN THESE TOWNS?? DOENST ANYONE GET A CHANCE TO SEE THESE BALLOTS BEFORE THEY ARE PRINTED? HOW CAN THEY PLAY GAMES LIKE THIS???
HOW DO YOU VOTE FOR BUSH? THE 4 OR THE 14 (WHERE THE ARROW POINTS)
IF IT IS 4 THEN WHY IS THE ARROW POINTING AT 14 AND THE 14 COLORED GREEN?????

When are we going to stop referring to them as the Democratic Party & start calling them what they really are?

Someone posted the ballot here or on Lucianne.com. It shows Kerry/Edwards with an arrow directing the voter to the proper area to be checked.
The Bush/Cheney voter, however, is directed by an arrow to the wrong area.
Probably an innocent mistake by a Dem too ignorant to understand the significance--or maybe not.

I've been voting since the early 70's, and I can't recall seeing a ballot where the incumbent was NOT the first one listed. Have you?

Uh... because the OH absentee ballot puts a Bush vote in the wrong box?

IIRC, the spots on the ballot for the 2 major parties are often rotated from one election to the next.

Cuyahoga County ballot samplesWhy aren't the candidates listed in the same order on all ballots? Bush/Cheney are listed first in some, Kerry/Edwards in others. In some cases, disqualified candidates are listed first.
Does this mean that a Bush/Cheney vote in one precinct may be punch hole 6, 10 in another and, possibly, 12 in yet another? If this is the case tallying votes correctly will be a nightmare.

I hope so. I voted for Bush, #4. Just like the instruction said.
Also my precinct's ballot is slightly different if only 14 counts for Bush then only 16 counts for Kerry in my precinct.
