Kerry's hunting comments bugging you, too?
Posted on 10/21/2004 8:58:07 PM PDT by GLDNGUN
From today's news accounts...Kerry returned after a two-hour hunting trip wearing a camouflage jacket and carrying a 12-gauge shotgun, but someone else carried the bird he said he shot.
"I'm too lazy," Kerry joked. "I'm still giddy over the Red Sox. It was hard to focus."

Kerry's comments are so bizarre, it's hard to know where to start. "Too lazy"? How much work is it to keep your fingers around the neck of a dead goose? "Giddy"??? Are you kidding me? LOL Is "giddy" what we want in President at a time of war. But he saved the best for last "It was hard to focus". First of all, a grown man should not have trouble focusing because his favorite team just won a baseball game. I suppose we can forgive him of that, but does a true sportsman go hunting when he is so unfocused that he can't carry a dead bird??? Is THAT the time to handling and firing a deadly weapon? When you can't focus? Finally, if this guy is too unfocused to carry a dead bird, how would he manage to put in a couple hours worth of work in White House?
Amazing what utterly stupifying things come out of this guy's mouth when the press catches him unscripted for 30 seconds.

Couldn't have said it better myself....why do you think that his campaign mgs are not allowing him interviews that are off the cuff! Because of all the blunders..nuisance, Too lazy,....he's a real bozo!

"Lazy" and "giddy" aren't exactly Presidential qualities, are they.

I wish Kerry would come over to my dad's house and get rid of all the deer that are ravaging his property. He can't even plant flowers, the blossoms are gone the next day.

Yup. Just incredible, this guy.
Today's little outing was a desperate attempt to portray this empty suit as a "hunter" and "sports fan." Just a "regular guy." How incredibly dumb is half the country that they buy this yay-hoo's gig?

How do you shoot a goose if it's "hard to focus"?

Kerry is a fraud. Todays "hunt" was not about shooting geese...it was about making him look like precisely what he's not...in order to garner a few more votes.
He is a fruad and a whore.

Kerry didn't do the goose. We all know the only kind of bird Kerry has ever shot.

Kerry's aides said he spent about two hours hunting at a blind set up in a cornfield. More than two dozen journalists were invited to the farm outside of Youngstown to see Kerry emerge from the field, but none witnessed Kerry taking any shots.

Notice that there is no footage of Kerry actually taking down the bird.

I would bet money that the whole "hunting" trip was a set-up, and that Kerry, nor his buddies shot a thing. The dead birds were already there for them to bring back. Do you think for a minute that Kerry would take the chance of coming back empty handed and looking like a loser? NO WAY.

It's against the law to hunt on your own land?
Does he live in a heavily populated area?

I want proof that HE shot the bird. I guarandamntee you that he wasn't going to leave the photo op without a bird.
I also want to know where the bird is tonight. A hunter who kills game, but throws them away is no sportsman. You don't have to eat a bear you shoot, but throwing a goose into a dumpster is unethical at best.
