two-hour hunting trip I take longer than that when I shop. I took longer than that when I handed out 50 Bush/Cheney yard signs on a corner this afternoon.

Canadian Geese may be a direct example of what the Democratic Party has become. Years ago geese were on the go, striving to exploit the best nature had to offer them. The were industrious is seeking the best grounds to strengthen their flocks. It was a noble and beautiful breed. Today they have become freeloaders off the urban system. They now hang and areas that offer the best handouts and what isn't given to them is pilfered from the residents. The have become a nuisance, leaving .slippery droppings everywhere.

Some people are real idiots to fall for this. There are of course all his surrogates that will parrot his hunting line.

"I'm too lazy," Kerry joked. "I'm still giddy over the Red Sox. It was hard to focus."

Oy Vey!

I also feel very sorry for anyone who would change their vote to Kerry simply b/c he went hunting, in the blatant face of his anti-gun stances, thereby assuming that he was not against the second amendment.

but someone else carried the bird he said he shot.

Sounds like the reporter is not quite convinced Kerry did any actual shooting either.

lazy--yes, we already knew that... but please, how can he think that silly remark as to why he didn't carry his own fowl would be satisfactory? he's embarrassing to himself as a man... doesn't he realize this yet?

Democrats! Great analogy.

Democrats are becoming too dangerous now though. They've poisoned our society.

The 2nd Amendment, it is not about goose hunting but about right to bear arms!

True, but how can the Kerry campaign stage a home invasion, a car-jacking, or a Ruby Ridge type standoff in order to emphasize how he's really serious about the right to self-defense?

On second thought, maybe better not to give 'em any ideas...

Actually it does make sense, The bag limit has been lowered and there are plenty of Geese, these were probably baited into some farmers field who sells hunting privileges by the day.

If he's giddy hes shouldn't be handling a firearm. He could shoot a hole in the bottom of the boat or worse.

Maybe he's looking for another purple heart.

I do not hunt with giddy, unfocused people, and I don't want them as President either.

The only ones left to be convinced at this point are the utterly-clueless undecideds, the likes of whom could make the "decision" to vote for the candidate named on the last yard sign they see before entering the polling place door.

Good line, but you're too far away. Look for scuffles to break out between Dem and Republican poll workers trying to be the ones nearest the door at the local precinct.
