Well, I spent a lot of time in Latin America, but the weird thing is, no one spoke it there!

My buddy Dan Quayle spoke it there. :-)

Guess they (crawfish) mess with the vegetation, which screwed up spawning.

Also, they eat the fish eggs. And, the fish are fat & lazy from eating crawfish so are harder to catch.

No, actually, the fishing on Lake Erie is terrific. I believe that the zebras were imported to clean up the Lake years ago. Now they are a boater's nightmare because they overtake props and exhaust systems. Something which you have to really be careful of.

Fishing in the Potomac is great as well. That is if you don't mind the fact that the male small mouth bass are producing eggs.
