Everyone makes mistakes whyle typing. :o) However, some basic rules of grammar and/or spelling are important if one is to be taken seriously. Every time I see the word "loose" used for "lose", it drives me batty. 9 times out of 10, that isn't a typing error. Someone simply does not know the difference.

I admit, I was and am horrible with the English language! and I took 4 years of summer school to prove it!

Agreed. If someone doesn't grasp the spelling difference between similarly spelled words, it's a pretty safe bet they don't grasp the distinct meanings either. It's getting harder and harder to find people who can distinguish between affect/effect and insure/ensure.
