I love Cheney - always have, but now he's one of my heroes. Cheney b*tch-slapped Kerry's b*tch - I loved it.
Debate was great IMO, although I already see the dims with their talking points: Cheney was old, dry, etc. Edwards was great, in control, blah blah blah. Edwards won even though the debate (esp. the second half) was boring, fizzled, etc. I was laughing outloud at Edwards during his 2 min. closing it was such a joke. Haven't heard any pundits say anything yet about Edwards' classless low-blow having to use the word "gay" to describe the Cheney's daughter. IMHO, it was no contest - Cheney won hands down!
Watched the debate at my bar in Cambodia with a few "Euro-weenie" friends and this was the first time they have ever seen both Edwards and Cheney outside of a few sound bites. They weren't impressed with Cheney before...they are now!
The Dims are already inserting their one big talking point: consistent. Just listen to the pundits and analysts say it again and again. It must've really hurt F'n to be called a flip-flopper and hear so many people start chanting. (Awwww. ) He probably demanded the twisted consistency idea become a talking point.
Most are saying that Edwards won the second half of the debate. I disagree. He just came up with a different version of his "Two Americas" boolsheet. I could almost hear an audible gasp from viewers when mention was made of him being a heartbeat away from the presidency. He doesn't exactly exude "safety from terrorism" in his girly presence.
